Nah, Beth has it right. If someone draws my favorite characters in a ship I don’t care for I just move on, but some people get awfully upset when artists celebrate pride with beloved characters.

Given the oversupply of background mares, almost certainly yes. Lesbianism wasn’t their first choice for most of them, but it sure beats being untouched.

Amount of those flags etc make me wonter that straights are minoroty in pony society :)

That sorta stuff is everywhere on devianart and it makes it hard to search for regular art of specific characters to find to here.

Okay here’s one we can all agree on. Next Gen “OCs” that are literally just reskins of canon characters. Like RD x Soarin’s son would have white fur and rainbow colored hair styled like his mother. I used these two as an example as it’s a ship I hate and it’s easy enough to filter out, all except those half assed recolor OCs.

P. sure that’s just unmanaged neurodivergence, my friend, not some philosophical commitment to radical individuality.

I’ve seen content from a entirely different fandom where some twitter artist just sees something cute, slaps flags on it, and doesn’t understand any of the implications behind what those flags mean regarding the character.

using a example of mine, someone slapped transgender and bisexual flags on a DogDay x CatNap ship, had they took the time to remotely look into the games lore, they’d realize that they were children turned toys. Transgenderism is about converting genders, one could make the connection that Theo (CatNap) was also forced to change genders as apart of the BBI initiative against his will, which is a concerning connection.

Anyway, there’s no need to express what you do in bed publicly. Everyone’s got their fetishes and yet we see people trying to proudly flaunt that they’re a vore fetishist or a furry fetishist on their vehicles which is ridiculous. Hyper-Individualism is a disease that affects society.

It is erroneous to say that none or all is ‘forced’ as there is absolutely images with characters just placed on top of pride flag images, along with images with said flags integrated into images proper.

There is, unfortunately, no way to separate the two kinds according to the tags that already exist, and it gives the impression that a lot of it is lazily made and with little to no creativity or actual artistry.

Pride content isn’t forced, they’re expressing themselves and you don’t like it.

poorly generated AI content, poochie/glimmer, forced pride flag content, ragebait, EQG, SFM EQG, Humanized ponies, shitty memes on front-page that are unrelated to pony, random screencaps that haven’t been deleted by the janitors for some reason, deviant art tier artwork that ends up worse than stuff with the “9000 hours in MS paint” tag., forced memes about trixie being transgender.

God forbid men have hobbies that include kissing other men.

Yeah babycon implies foalcon so it’s hidden regardless (for the most part. Apparently a few babycon images weren’t tagged properly.).

Is it even foalcon at this point? It looks like a totally different category of pictures, whose appeal is for a completely different audience. Probably there’s, or should be, a specific tag for it

The default filter hides everything explicit and foalcon is locked to that rating (more or less).

It might just be shock value at that point.

The one time lolicon actually bothered me was when a certain artist used the likeness of actual children to draw porn. Not only that, they name drop and reference the children.

I mean Shadman. Anti censorship is cool, but this artist abused the rights of real people to do it.

Probably the latter. But like, very the latter maybe. I don’t believe it’s supposed to be like the former. but goodness it’s still highly disturbing. And not in like a way phyisical disturbing art can have an appeal.

At some point, I should head on over to the tagging forum to check if there are any threads about the foalcon tag and its relation to the Student Six. You’ll get the occasional image that disappears half the time when others tag-war over whether it’s foalcon or not.

That is really fucked up. I didn’t see those images, but how you described it sounds far worse than anything I’ve ever uploaded, which is saying a lot. You probably want to hide the foalcon tag (it really should be hidden by default).

Disturbing stuff obviously has a place and an appeal. physical body horror, lot of stuff.

Something like this, though, is on a much more transcendant next level of disturbing. Some of the deleted comments were really savage.

At least I’ve figured out filters now!

I worry more about people who are vehemently against having a public image or drawing anything more than wholesome cutesy stuff only.

But that’s just my perspective. Art is meant to disturb sometimes.
