Robert Kirkman says that Omni-man would beat Superman in a fight by a landslide.Hey Zincy and Dusty, how fucking high/stupid/drunk is Kirkman?Personally, I see Omni as having around 90% of Supes total power level so he’ll obviously put up a tough N rough fight but he won’t win in the long run.
If I was a comic creator I would say at every occasion that all the characters I created can beat Superman
Doesn’t matter if the story is about snail people with leukaemia, I’ll just say it for fun

My favourite part of the whole thing was that the Willy wonka scam event added an original character to the event called “The Unknown” and it’s a guy in a silver mask and completely covered in a black cloak and the character just ended up scaring children

There’s a lot of Misinfo surrounding the death of Nex Benedict that I feel I have to vent about it here
So basically there’s this notion going around that the bullies didn’t know Nex Benedict and vice versa, this is false
Nex has claimed that they had multiple altercations with the bullies including the bullies throwing shit at Nex and their friends, hell the incident where they sustained head trauma, according to Nex, happened because the bullies were mocking Nex in the bathroom. The bullies started it and got surprised when Nex decided to fight back
This false notion is due to an out of context quote by Nex where they said they didn’t know the bullies, but that was prior to the bullying situation not the actual bathroom fight itself, it’s blatantly obvious if you listened to the footage yourself but of course, people didn’t
Also can I say how fucked it is that bullying victims have to act 100% innocent and in-line in regards to their bullies? The bullies can do anything they want to their victims but the victims do anything irrational or in poor judgement in regards to bullying and suddenly it’s “well fuck them I guess”

And systemic oppression isn’t just active suppression but also wilful negligence. If you want to learn Karelian, you can only do so after kindergarten and for one to two hours a week and this is in the context of the historical suppression of minorities during the times of the USSR
The Soviets oppressed Karelians and other minorities during their era causing their language and culture to become nearly extinct and the Russian republics inherited the situation and does fuck all to help the historically underserved demographics
Now I will concede this, from what I read modern ethnic minorities do view the current status of their cultures as better than in the Soviet times because the Soviet times were far harsher towards minority cultures and languages, but doesn’t mean racism and colonialist attitudes don’t remain especially when the historical oppression of these peoples aren’t taught in schools
But here we are talking about a systemic thing, when it is very common

With OpenAI releasing Sora, I’m really just questioning my degree choice
On one hand I probably should stay away from media degrees for obvious reasons
On the other hand coding and programming(which is kinda the current degree I have locked) is oversaturated at the moment and AI is coming for coders as well, the exponential growth of AI has me worried that I’m boarding the titanic

Yeah let me just say that AI generated/assisted tv shows and movies are the future. This is not to promote or denigrate AI or the potential future, this is simply how it’s going to turn out
The only question is, how many jobs in the media industry will be lost from this? For the worker’s sake, I hope it’s minimal but who knows

I don’t agree with anything they say, but it’s clear their angry clearly stems from them being discriminated as a Karelian in their own homeland
men from Buryatia, a Russian republic whose residents are descended from Mongols, are 75 times more likely to die than men from Moscow.
And before you bring up the west also conscripting minorities, yes it is bad when the west also does these things, can we focus on the actual topic on hand instead of whataboutism?
