Fun fact, that photo only appears if you’ve already beaten “Champion’s Ballad”. If you only owned the Wii U version of BOTW though…you’re out of luck. (Not that it would matter, it’s a nice little “old save bonus”)

Well I see where the game get’s it’s title, Impa gave me a mission to investigate the giant image put into the field which I thought she meant to get a picture from high up but actually there is a puddle of water hidden in the image and when you investigate, it turns into a tear drop and you are then shown a cutscene.
Obviously this is the same as the memories in Breath of the Wild where location places that had pictures taken unlocks a memory from 100 years ago,
here you are shown a scene of what happened to Zelda and turns out she traveled back in time to when Rauru was alive and king of Hyrule.
I’ve seen these images all over Hyrule so I might as well investigate them as much as I can.

Also NOOO! SOMEONE HAS TAKEN MY HOME! Those construction guys worked so hard to build and furnish my place and I even deck it out with my own personal weapon collection just for someone else to take it. At least they kept my photo of me, Zelda, Daruk, Mipha, Urbosa, and Revali in the same place.

Speaking of which: I’ve done more building of things then I ever thought I would, I mean that was the one reason I lost interest in Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts, thankfully it’s not as tedious so I won’t be quitting (plus I’m already invested in the story).

Well I’m impressed, after Tarrey Town Hudson and Rhonson decided to start a business making homes and that whole forest behind the town has been expanded for more homes.
Also turns out they have a daughter, and I could help but chuckle that they made her a Gerudo with his hair.

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised if there aren’t any Guardians anymore then there also wouldn’t be any of the Divine Beasts as well.

I did run into a three-headed dragon and almost killed me, but I ran for it (not gonna attempt boss battles until I’m a bit more prepared)

They fixed the issue on 3DS by A: having the iron boots be assigned to an instant-equip button, and B: marking the pathways that led to each water-changing station. (And I swear I actually beat the temple on 3DS once without looking up a guide this way!)

Yes. The original N64 version was such a chore in many fans’ eyes, that Miyamoto himself actually apologized for it.

I’m hearing that the Water Temple in the Master Quest version of “Ocarina of Time” is…easier?

Apparently trees can just get up and attack you now, Hyrule sure has it’s share of strange enemies.

Also not only is Robbie still around, so is Impa as I just ran into her along my travels.

Technically the third game is TP.

I want a third “Young Link” Zelda game to wrap up his journey of finding Navi that started in “Majora’s Mask”.

Well nice of him to keep the tradition of having people with “son” in their name join him, I just assumed because he has the same hair as Hudson.

Just his name. Not many characters have surnames, only one has a middle name we know of, while the rest either only their forenames are known, or they only have one name in the first place.

We do meet Hudson and his daughter. This guy got hired by Hudson because of the last name.

I am SO glad I don’t have to climb up towers anymore just to activate the maps, then again thanks to the Ascend ability I probably wouldn’t have had to climb much anyways. Still it makes filling out Hyrule’s map easier and I get to launch myself up and paraglide around.
Also nice to know Hudson has built his own construction company after he was finished with Tarrey Town, and I think this is his son?

Seriously, I actually expected both Robbie and Impa to have passed away. At least my prediction on Paya becoming the new chief/leader/something of Kakariko came true.

Soooo did Zelda dismantle all the Guardians or something? There’s not a trace of them anywhere in Hyrule or near the castle. (I get the Zonai are suppose to be their replacements in the game, but I mean a little continuity wouldn’t hurt)

It’s nice to see Purah again after all this time, and she’s grown since (considering she de-aged herself originally)
Also Robbie looks like he hasn’t changed at all, I wonder what his secret is?
