When searching for “egg”, the first page suggests searching for “egg (food)” to search for that tag. When clicking on the link to search that alternate tag, it sends you back to the homepage stating “you can’t access this page”.

What? No longer exists? What are you on? It exists, the description was just linking to a wrong URL. It has been fixed.

Probably the “best artist” badge no longer exists.

The derpibooru exclusive tag has a broken badge image link in its description.

If I try to preview a post with the following, it fails, with “Preview failed to load!” and a 403 error logged in the browser console. It also fails if I enclose it in code (single backticks) or code block markup (three backticks or three tildes). The opening curly brace can also be substituted with other characters and still error: (, -, /, ., and assuredly many others I haven’t tried - while others don’t cause an error, such as _, 0, a, @…

Obviously, I haven’t tried submitting it until now, we’ll see what happens…
[edit] It put me through a CloudFlare test and then, obviously, posted successfully. So, I guess it’s a problem just with previewing.

Looks like you haven’t been able to get the image uploaded yet. Can you please PM me a link to the image? I can upload it for you, and will diagnose any problems that happen - and I’ll make you the uploader of the image once it’s uploaded.

That way I can help figure out why it won’t upload, and can let you know how I got it uploaded so you can use that process yourself in the future.

the stuff at the end is only there to make cdn urls temporary. if the timestamp/signature are valid then it’s possible to fetch the image

There must be a bug transferring the data from Discord. Unfortunately I wouldn’t know as I’ve never fetched or uploaded anything from there to here :(

Their Discord link was just a screenshot of the Derpi error page, not an image they’re trying to upload (and I was able to view the link just fine)…

Unfortunately not a bug on our end, if you’re using Discord, they recently moved to disallow other sites viewing images; that’s what all the “stuff” at the end of the URL, a block from non-discord clients being able to see the image.

You’ll have to save the image to your machine and upload from there, I’m afraid.

Also noticed that this is still an issue after uploading a better quality version of a pic from my gallery recently.

On this image, the comment counter’s at 1 when there’s clearly three.

Encountered an upload page bug. If I don’t enter any source links, hit “Upload”, but get an error, like if I fail to add a rating tag and/or fetch an image, the source field(s) become inaccessible (disappear) completely and the “Add source” button does nothing, until a complete page refresh. If I enter a source but get an error, the source fields work fine.

Upd.: Oh, I forgot, using the latest Firefox Dev Edition.
Upd.2: Tested in a Chromium-based browser (Vivaldi), the same issue occurs.

You’ll need to give some examples, because no, there are no known issues like that.

Some tags have so called “implied tags” on them, which means if you add those tags, the “implied tags” will be added automatically for you. For instance, if you add the tag twiluna, it’ll automatically add shipping, twilight sparkle and princess luna for you.

Is there or has there been a site bug that adds tags to the image that the uploader did not?

Recently I uploaded an image, for some reason two tags were on it which I didn’t put on. They were not implied by or imply or were allied with any other tag I put on

It’s actually a proper JPEG image, server just says its content-type is text/html, for some reason, and browser belives that..
Btw Opera 12 (probably last adequate browser ever made) displays it properly anyway

I don’t remember when it broke, but the way I’d think linking on an image works is broken. Just found out you need to do the image embed then linkify that image embed instead of the old method of putting link inside the brackets of image. Not sure how many linkages this broke in descriptions, but I had to correct one I knew of manually.

Related to this and should be easy, please enable a button to auto-copy or open up the code for a description. Helps when you want to keep an artist’s “signature” intact on other uploads if one hasn’t done it before on a specific artist or at all.

I went back and checked a random post, and I’m not sure how the artist had their embedded descriptions still work.
