I wouldn’t know. I’d leave that up to a couple of staff to bring that up in more detail. But IMO, tribal pony would suffice.

Wait, I have one more idea that just dawned on me while reading comments on images. Would Aztec pony be more applicable than just tribal pony? Or would you say it’s not quite the right thing? It’s not like.they have an official name to use…
I do see the “Aztec” tag on a number of images of them, then I saw a comment from a BP wondering why the “aztec ponies” don’t have a tag yet.

I understood the idea/point. That’s why I clarified why there’s a difference between what already is classified as a separate species and why these bois shouldn’t. Didn’t bring up Crystal Ponies because we both understand the obvious physiological/biological difference.

No no, I was listing Thracians as an example of a pony subset with its own species tag. Their own culture and stuff too, like the Crystal Ponies and a few others. I was mulling if these guys are in the same league to deserve their own tag.
Maybe if not a species tag, definitely something of their own. I’m not opposed to giving them the label anyway even if it isn’t species-ified.

I’ve only skimmed the tag results for it, but I’m pretty sure Thracians actually different, even if only slightly. I haven’t seen that innate “contact” ability elsewhere. Meanwhile, the tribal ponies are only separated by culture and dressing; not something that separates them species-wise. Tribal ponies are fine as an addable non-species tag as-is. Maybe an implication for it?

Hey, I posted this the other day but it went nowhere, and in fact it might even be more suited to here.

Yesterday I found this comic of Lyra doing explicit stuff with one of the southern Equestrian tribal ponies from Daring Don’t, and I identified the specific pony involved and tagged hin.

But now I’m realizing, should these guys have their own group categorizaion? We have the Crystal Ponies, the Thracians, and other pony subsets. They don’t have their own type labeled. I’ve seen the “Aztec” tag for a few of them though.
These guys are obviously their own sort of pony style, should they have a species name? What about “tribal pony”?
Would anypony here be opposed to me adding that tag to them? And should it be a species tag like other pony types?

I think Cybertronian should also be a species tag and it should imply Transformers and (maybe) robot.

Not sure if I should agree or not on that. But something that might need looking at is the imposter images need to be tagged alien if they aren’t already.
