Supporting such measures to me, especially when you are implying that the Mulford Act was good(pursuing right policies for wrong reasons is a very fucking bad look when talking about a legislation targeted at black communities) definitely seems like racism to me, even if it is more unconscious than anything or simply not caring about the consequences against POC communities
Also liberal isn’t really an ad hom I pretty much thought he was a liberal unless he is one of those anti gun conservatives

I also realise I’m calling a lot of American liberals racist but I’m sticking with it because honestly, a lot of America is racist and the left is not exempt from that
