If that subreddit in question was “offensive”, why didn’t they remove it a long time ago?

1. For the 8th time now, it was not banned for being “offensive”, it was banned for engaging in targeted harassment.
    
2. Said harassment was not happening a long time ago.

(thinking in terms of connection speed and bandwidth) but I’m sure those of us with crappier internet might benefit a little.

I tried your solution… But it seems like a simple “femboy” tag would work just as well and almost certainly better (not to mention easier).

Saying is dosnt matter is really annoying… Because it does matter to some people.

It’s labled as Futa when it shows with 100% clearify that it is not a feminin hermaphrodite… It’s just a feminine character with a dick. A femboy, a trap, or even just a rule 63 derpy.

Then there is the issue of the two kinds of Futa character. Both fall under Futa, but they are very different.

By using Futa as a blanket term you are turning the tag into a mine feild, when it doesn’t have to be.

If you don’t care about it, that’s your bussiness. However using it as a blanket term is annoying because if your gay, and do not like vagina, then you don’t like Futa. However if your gay and enjoy femboys, then Futa becomeing a blanket term is very frusterating.

If you don’t care, the. Why not just let it be a precise term for its intended meaning?

The big thing would be clarification on the sites definition of the Futa tag. If that was changed then anyone who has an issue with the meaning of Futa could refer to that… Which would solve most issues.
If the site has a specific, set meaning for the word Futa, In line with the generally accepted meaning (rather than the “language in flux” argument) then it would solve a lot of the issues.

 
Changing the Derpibooru-definition of “futa” is not going to magically make people use it that way. Just saying.

Seems fair enough. “Futa” tag includes both “dickgirl” and “hermaphrodite”.
 
The problem you’re having is in the distinction between “dickgirl” and “femboy”, which is not the fault of the “futa” tag. It can be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to tell the difference between a “dickgirl” and a “femboy”, because often times, there’s no way of knowing, unless the artist explicitly says so. You can’t solve that problem with Derpibooru tags.

Futa means female with both a female genitals and male genitals.

But in a conversationi had earlier, which started all of this, someone said that the meaning of Futa was just feminine looking with a penis. That’s simply not the case, but it seems to be how it is defined here.

Instantly classing that as “dickgirl”, ie. a girl with a dick makes no sense.

As for “just tag it r63 to avoid confusion”, the problem is people will still argue about it, even retag it.

I’d argue people tag it futa so they don’t feel they’re liking something that could possibly even slightly make them seem gay.
