Pinkie Pie out of nowhere stands right at your side, you still carefully holding Crimson Moon.
 
Pinkie Pie: That’s it! That’s who you should be to these two!

…hehe hey there lil fella, it’s good ta finally meet ya. i’m teddy, i’m gonna be helping your ma take care of ya for a while. (he’s so small and he brearley weighs anything)

Rarity: Pretend you’re holding a box to your right side. Use your cast to hold the majority of the blanket.
 
Rarity hands you the bundle and you oh use your casted hand to keep it balanced. With your other hand you pull open the blanket and reveal small tuft of blonde hair and light red skin.

i umm how do i hold him?

Redheart: Mr. Stitches, Mrs. Shimmer. I believe these two belong to you.
 
The nurse arrives with two heavily blanketed trays keeping whatever’s inside as warm as possible. She steps aside to let everyone have a look.
 
Shimmer: Rarity…may I…?
 
Rarity takes the folded blanket in the left tray and gives it to Shimmer still sitting on her wheelchair. She unravels the top half to reveal a baby girl.
 
Shimmer: tearing up My little Star Dust…
 
As everyone gathers around Shimmer to see her new girl, Rarity takes the blanket from the second tray.
 
Rarity: Good thing that cast is hard as a rock. You can still hold onto one child with both your arms.

thanks guys. i guess i’m just really good at taking pain.

Shimmer: We all have different stories, Ted. Unfortunately I left most of it on your hand.
 
Applejack: That reminds me, I forgot to tell you last night… lightly punches your right shoulder Ted, you’ve got guts!
 
Rainbow Dash: Yeah, you took all that pain for her. I chose to go solo during my birth.
 
Pinkie Pie: You’re a real fighter, Ted!
 
Rarity: hugs you I told you deep down you were something special.

i didn’t hear a “guy gets his hand broken by the woman giving birth” on that list chuckles softly (it still kind of hurts)

Rainbow Dash: holding Blazing Storm Yup. That reminds me…I’m guessing you both went through most of the “Labor Drama Stereotypes” like we did?
 
Shimmer: Labor what?
 
Rainbow Dash: Twilight, if you don’t mind?

Rarity: I was hoping you’d have an idea, she’s still in active labor as we speak.

hey guys. how’s fluttershy doing?

Things stay quiet as Shimmer finishes her breakfast. The nurses return to test your strength.
 
Redheart: Alright, Mrs. Shimmer, my assistant will help you into the wheelchair.
 
The second nurse helps Shimmer out of bed and guides her body down towards the wheelchair. She places herself on it and the nurse wheels her outside the room. Meanwhile, you slowly move yourself out of your bed. They had left your clothes on (except your shoes) but the left sleeve of your shirt had to be cut up so they could examine the rest of your arm. You feet touch the ground and you press your entire weight onto the floor. Slightly shaking you manage to balance yourself and walk around a few steps. You sit back down to get your shoes back on…but it’s slightly difficult to tie them up with only one hand. The nurse comes to assist you.
 
Redheart: Looks like you’re good to go, but that cast is going to be staying on you for a while.
 
No doubt you would be needing help for a while yourself but at least you still have a good arm to work with. Your shoes tied, you walk out of the room with Shimmer waiting outside for you.
 
Redheart: taking her place behind Shimmer’s wheelchair Your friends are already waiting for you at the Nursery. Let’s not keep them waiting.
 
The nurse pushes Shimmer as you walk alongside her, excited to see the new twins. One elevator ride down, you find yourself back on the main floor continuing to follow the path. You spot most of the girls waiting for you in front of the nursery.
 
Twilight: Good morning, you two. You look much better than yesterday.

its fine shimmer.

Shimmer quickly pieces things together.
 
Shimmer: Oh I’m…I didn’t think that…

no….just some bad memories.

Shimmer: still has a half plate of food left …you don’t like hospitals, do you?

Shimmer: We may be taking them home today depending on how well they’re doing since the birth.

well at least we can visit the twins while we’re here.

Shimmer: I’m pretty sure we’ll both be released today. But we’ll probably need help. A lot of it. We’re not fit to take ourselves home.

well as long as we’re being honest here a small part of me wants to get outta here or at least outta this bed.

Redheart: We’ll see after you eat. We’ll be back soon.
 
The nurses take their leave as you both start to eat breakfast.
 
Shimmer: To tell you the truth, I’m probably sure you can walk, but I’d rather hear it from an official doctor than let you try yourself. I mean do you want to stay in a hospital bed for another two weeks?
