Out of curiosity for “Tears of the Kingdom”, I looked up what would happen if you DON’T catch Zelda during the final diving after Ganondorf’s defeat, turns out you HAVE to catch her or it goes on forever. No epic fail.

For my BOTW playthrough, I’m attempting to manually take pictures of everything in the game, I even have a checklist made. So far it looks like I have to get these weapons before the game scales the Lynels up:
Lynel Crusher (Regular Lynel)
Lynel Spear (Regular Lynel)
Mighty Lynel Crusher (Blue-Maned Lynel)

There’s also the Forest Dweller’s Sword (which I can get in one shrine quest in Korok Forest) and the Kite Shield (which is in a treasure chest in an enemy skull base in Hebra). And then there’s a Mighty Lyntel Sword/Shield/Bow set which, thanks to a glitch, I can get in Hyrule Castle.

Wait you can turn the sages off? Personally I don’t have any real problems with Yunobo, his ability has really helped with fighting enemies and breaking through rocks. (but I understand they can get in the way when I’m picking up items)

I finally have all the sages in my group now; Riju’s lightning is pretty cool and helpful against enemies. Speaking of Riju, I had no idea she and Link were the same size, she’s really grown since the last game. (That or Link is shorter then he looks)

While exploring the depths I came across a new ability which let’s me instantly build things I’ve previously built which will save me some time building if I need it right away, then after that I finally met up with Master Kohga after all this time and I gotta say it is clever they worked in the events of BotW by having him be underground this whole time and setting up Yiga Clan forts all around the depths during that time.

If you’re having trouble finding Lightroots, go on your Map to any Shrines you’ve found on the Surface (ones in the Sky are excluded) and check the same location on the Depths Map. If you haven’t found a Lightroot there, head to the spot and search the area.
