Basically a single pebble in a jet engine can completely fuck the entire engine and the problem with veritechs is they use that part to walk on the ground with. It would take two steps on the ground and then then entire engine would tear itself to pieces from the inside.

Those wouldn’t work either, cause the jet engine in a fighter plane the one thing you never want to hear while working on it is the sound of a peddle dropping into it. Now imagine using that part to walk on the ground with.

Trying to keep a mobile suit from breaking into a million pieces from gravity alone would be harder than trying to piss into a shot glass that’s on a record player playing strapped to a running cheetah’s back while on fire.

To further shoot down people’s hopes of ever seeing giant robots you’re forgetting how much energy it would cost to move something that large. In order move something the size of say the Chrysler building you would need a nuclear fusion reactor just to move it and it’s armor would be so thin that the best course of action would to be to go shadow of colossus on it’s ass cause it’s armor would be paper thin.
 
Just climb up it and start popping a cap in the supermagnets’ control system and the entire thing would fall over cause no control for the fusion reactor’s supermagnets means it would shut off and fall over with no way of stopping it from becoming torn tissue paper.
