Obsidian is an overrated company who can barely finish sequels to other companys games, despite the engine, setting and core gameplay already being made for them. Kotor 2’s ending had to be modded in and new Vegas had bigger bugs than the wasteland its set in.
 
That being said, after years of patches, updates and DLC, Vegas is now a great Game. Probably the best of the 3D Fallouts.
 
3 is good, but not as in depth or immersive or thematic as Vegas. 4 is good if you look at it as more of a shoot’n loot ala borderlands but with dialogue and a Skyrim perk system.

I remember it being considered the more mature and edgy console while the 64 was the kid, family and party console. I hate sony as a company but the original PS1 was a gem with some great games despite being somewhat weaker than the 64.

I’ve got a hankering for some new Vegas.

Jesus I hope you’re ready to pay for them with your blood and the souls of your unborn children. Old school Nintendo games are ridiculously expensive due to speculators, and their value is completely artificial because they’re not even rare. Nintendo manufactured hundreds of thousands of these old games and they’re extremely durable so the majority of them still work great. Seriously, a thousand years after nuclear warfare has scorched humanity off the face of the earth, The only things left will be cockroaches and Nintendo cartridges.
 
Don’t pay ridiculous prices. Fuck the speculators.

7 days untill I Enter the police Academy. I told my boss my last day would be the 22nd over a week ago. They still rostered me on for the next two weeks. Silly fucks.

I’ve begun collecting classic Xbox games, The quintessential console of my Childhood. It dawned on me that While Steam is massively convenient, I don’t really own any of the games in my steam library. They’re glorified rentals that steam can remove, patch or alter at a whim.
 
So, Back into physical games I go and man did I pick a good console to get back into. The original X-box has so many good games and they’re dirt cheap on ebay too.

Honestly, The only game I’ve played in the last 6 years that fits the bill would be Undertale, But every man and his dog has played that by now and it’s not especially hard.
 
Perhaps bloodstained or valfaris? Look’em up. They also seem closer to 16 bit style games though. Way to many Sprites and buttons, ha.
 
An 8 bit platforms should only require a d-pad and an A&B button damnit.

The 8 bit retro nostalgia craze has been going on for near 10 years now so you’re spoilt for choice. Picking just one is hard.

Their king and queen are physical gods that are older than the continent’s, predating the old ones. Does that mean that Cathay is now an older nation than Nehekhara, or even the high elves? Where were these guys during the collapse of the polar warp gates?
 
I can see their lore has been written so that they can plausibly show up in Age of Shitmar and create New Cathay.
