Yeah, I really don’t understand why they didn’t have Good!Sombra die instead of “going bad”. The option they went with instead just raises a whole bunch of questions.

As long as the show is more well-known than the comics (I don’t think I saw too many fans of the official comics, to be honest), then McCarthy will continue to be hated more than the comic staff.
 
…unless the recent spin-off turns out to be ridiculously controversial like I predict it to be.

Don’t forget the possibility that, even if the stories were well-written, we’ll never be able to see any of it directly referenced on the show.
 
This is honestly one of the reasons why I don’t like this spin-off so far.

Whether the issue is going to involve Luna or the Nightmare Forces more, it’s still going to focus on the Season 1 villain/the thing that created the Season 1 villain.
 
Discord, on the other hand, is nowhere be seen so far, despite being one of Season 2’s villains. There’s not even a mention of a possible thing/person that will act as a catalyst for Discord becoming a villain.

To be honest, hell would freeze over before the staff starts to believe Discord has enough exposure.
 
Also, what about Nightmare Moon/Luna? Isn’t she technically a villain-turned-good-guy now? In fact, haven’t we seen a bit of Nightmare Moon’s past in the show? Why would she get a comic, but not Discord?
