So since I’ve had little else to do while sick, I started using OK Cupid again.

Stupid question, what do people see in poly relationships? I see so many women saying they want someone as part of a poly relationship or as a side guy when they’re already with someone. I’m really trying not to judge, but being someone else’s side guy is super not for me.

To use myself as an example, I’m reserved (moreso IRL than online) and is more likely to wait and hope something happens than getting up and doing something (or at least wait quite awhile for someone else to tackle it). I’m also chatty when it comes to thinks I know/like and want to share. It’s the how and why, not the what.

I’ve had somewhere in the realm of 25-26 partners over my life. Mostly in the last 15 years.

I think, I always forget a few who I was only with one or two times. I actually forgot entirely about this one girl until I saw she was still on my Pinterest friends list.

I’ve been with a rainbow, white, black, Asian, Hispanic. Girls, guys, and at least one trans.

It is important to learn from your missed opportunities.

And try not to view them as regrets. You never know how it could have turned out.

Could have been the most exciting night of your life, or you could have woken up strapped to a hotel bed with your wallet and/or kidney missing. No sense in speculating, just move forward to new opportunities.

Also take it from someone whose sexual encounters probably hit the quadruple digits, sex is just sex. Yea its fun, and there can be a lot of love and passion in it. But you’re not a worse person by not having an active sex life.
