e621 also tags fur and hair color along with other things we don’t so here, likewise, we do some things here that e621 has.
 
I’m not saying you can’t change it, but be warned that others may disagree with you, and it’s best to least wait a day or so after making a thread before you go along with a change. There’s no pressing need to do this right now.

It’s not being picky. the full nelson is an action, and people going to the tag will be looking for that action. if you look on e621 under their full nelson tag, it has strictly what I’m talking about.  
Plus, if they’re looking for the specific position the sub is in when they search, they should be able to find it under “frontbend”, since that is the position they are in in 95% if the images under this tag.

I feel that it’s detrimental to be that picky about a specific pose, considering that we don’t know how many people watching the tag will miss out on things they wanted to see.

term also applies for the legs/hind legs in this situation. If the arms don’t lock at the head/neck/shoulder region, it’s not a full nelson. Just trying to filter out the images that don’t apply.

Found the tag changepony, it’s not used a lot though.

Question: is there a tag for half-pony,half changeling hybrids like we have with “dracony”?

Thanks for pointing it out, I’m not sure I would’ve noticed the ability to complexly remove things from my watchlist otherwise. But really, if a user is given the hypothetical choice between wanting to filter alicorn OCs by first discovering, and then learning, the syntax for searches beyond simple commas and how that applies to the complex filters, and then adding the two relevant tags correctly, and checking to see if it worked because you get no direct feedback from the box itself… or adding a single tag to the box that looks like any other box of tags on the site?

Not to mention, the other issue being search clarity too, like if you look up anthro, oc for example, you’ll get some pics with anthro’d ocs, but others could have a humanized oc in the pic with an anthro show character or a pony oc.

The main argument I’ve seen for them existing is the same one for the “alicorn twilight” existing:  
It lets people know which character is the one humanized.  
You could have a pic of rainbow and an oc. If it’s tagged humanized, who is the one humanized? Rainbow? the oc? Both?
 
That’s pretty much what I’ve seen about it. If people want to see/filter humanized [or any x oc] images while being fine with canon characters being the x.

A couple of them are holdovers from the time before complex filtering was possible, I think. Or at least, tags like “alicorn oc” (which definitely was used for filtering) set a pattern/precedent for other, similarly named tags.
 
On that note, though, I’m not sure complex filters are the cure-all for compound tag names. For one thing, they can only be used to hide images, not spoiler or watch. For another, sometimes the overlap between two tags is significant or identifiable in its own right, so forcing the use of two tags becomes a problem of weighing the efficiency of a non-redundant tag database against the efficiency of using a single tag.

I think so too I thought the oc tag was enough for people who hated seeing them.

I don’t think any of the x oc tags really need to exist. They seem redundant to me.

Too many missing pictures for it to tag. Doesn’t seem as popular as the anthro oc one either.
