makes me then wonder the case of, people thinking some artists are dead, but they are actually posting everything off site.
I do know of a few that do that actually, deleted their DA/all art accounts, and just post on a private website, then even more worried about art being stolen, put giant painted on watermarks.

Yeah, I’ve been noticing that artist badge on so many people these days, not surprising, that they would want to upload their own artwork. Reminds me of comments I have seen before were the artist was like “I went to upload this, but 2seconds earlier someone else did” xD

A lot of the new dnps are also not all out dnps. But instead, artists who prefer to keep the uploading to themselves. If I’m right, Derpi has been seeing more artists register on here lately.

You’d be surprised how often the comments on a great image will be “wait, how wasn’t this uploaded already?”, or how many times I’ll scroll through Tumblr or whatever, see something really good from a popular artist they posted weeks ago, check the booru and see it’s not there.

No; there’ve been less DNPs now than ever before, and most that come in are because they want to “leave the fandom” or keep things private.
As for Christina, no, they’re not DNP unless they go by some other name. There are a lot of great artists out there with no work here simply because the community here never heard of them before, or they had a large hiatus, or often simply because “this is too good to not already be uploaded”.

Yeah he seemed like a super cool dude but all of a sudden he dropped off the map, his Trixie Blog is gone AND his DA is gone.
If I remember correctly he has Youtube account as well but due to the fact its been a while and the only link I recall to his youtube was on his Blog/DA something tells me that’s gone as well.
