There is some charm in the theme of how futile it should truly be to fight something so powerful as a dragon.
While that theme is inherently a bit frustrating, I could appreciate it for that theme. But it should feel futile because Midir himself is that strong, not because he messes around with the mechanics of the game.

Alternate between using lock on and not. It will be crucial as the unstable camera can often be your downfall.
It just seems unnecessarily bad design that your own wiki says to not use one or the other.
