Bananas foster is really good. It’s very dramatic too, the way the rum is ignited before serving.

Oh man, the new MY DYING BRIDE album, A Mortal Binding is great as hell! I know some people were a little impatient, especially because it took four years to have a new LP, but I can say it was worth it. Every single second. I remember when they released the first single Thornwyck Hymn back on February, I was like “Okay, it seems like this will be a more melodic album than the previous one”. But then, a little while later, they release The 2nd of Three Bells, and hearing Aaron Stainthorpe (The vocalist) doing some guturals in the song was satisfying as hell.

It also seems like Nuclear Blast Records gave them more budget to produce this new album, because it had two musical videos (Unlike the two previous ones, they only had a single musical video) and maybe it’s only me, but I swear the guitars and the violin sounds angelic, yet so heavy when is needed. The production was really flawless! Although that’s no surprise considering the producer from their previous album, Mark Mynett came back to work with the band again.

Now I need to hear at least one of the new songs live! >_< Cross my fingers for The 2nd of Three Bells.

I kind of hope this happens, because if they strike it down, then (I think) they effectively strike down all the other age verification laws including the one I’m having to suffer through in Utah.

But the court has imposed limits on free speech in the past (albeit totally reasonable ones like “no threatening people.”) Certainly the more partisan justices might vote that way and use something like that as an excuse.

Either way, it’s sure to be a big case.

As for the possibly-lesbian couples, there’s the old lady shopkeepers Lucy meets early on and Moldover and Lucy’s mom.

That’s a fair amount of representation for a not that large of a cast.

I’ve had bigger, fuller beards than I do in that photo, so I’m not kidding when I admit I do have facial hair fit for land and sea!

Pedal steel guitars are damn cool. If you see one and really want it, I say go for it!

It’s really good. It’s a Peruvian dish and quite honestly the best. Peruvian food is the best in Latin America. That’s just my opinion though.
