He’s fine.
Better than Quibble Pants who mocks and looks down on you as soon as you don’t share his opinion.
Sometimes i think that bronies would like to set homeless people on fire, if i read bad opinions about Zephyr.
Well, in one hand, i can relate to his fear of failure, and he and his interactions with the other characters were funny throughout the episode. in the other hand, destroying his parents’ collections to make room for his hobby du jour and taking advantage of his parents’ doormatishness to do that was a really jerkish thing to do.
I’d have liked the episode much more so if it turned out circumstances made him the way he is, that he needed help in getting back on track. Too much emphasis was put on just how much of a nuisance he is and how his personality evolved over time as to be better at being one.
Was a total prick for most of the episode, but I found him really amusing because of that. I also think that, with his turnaround at the end, he has a lot of potential as a character.
I recently rewatched the episode, and the main thing that struck me is how creepy he can be. There are times when he’s putting on a faux-endearing voice, and it doesn’t even sound conniving or manipulative but just straight up threatening. He’d make a great villain.
