What are your expectations for the G5 animated series?

With MLP G4 ending, What are your expectations for the G5 animated series? Personally, i’m not a fan of the “new” mane 6 simply being half the characters race swapped. But those were early concept so perhaps they changed it. In the end, as long as the show has cute character designs, lovable characters, and great animation(basically the stuff that made me fall in love with MLP FIM), I’ll be happy

My expectations are kinda high. Can’t wait to see an official promotional image! I love the designs from Row 4, they look nice! But, if the one of Meghan’s leaked e-mails are any indication, Kora Kosicka (the one who drew Row 3’s Mane Six) may the character designer for G5. However, since Row 3’s Mane 6 weren’t drawn in the same style, it is basically impossible to find out what will be the one Hasbro is gonna choose! I do think they will choose the style Rainbow Dash was drawn, because it looks pretty close to G4.

well going by resent Hasbro cartoons it will go for 11 minute long episodes instead of 22 minutes like FIM

So far the only thing that interests me is it’s rating: y7 fantasy violence.

I want it on Netflix instead of Discovery Family so it can get to a larger audience faster. DiscFam is basically the reason the recent LPS Reboot bombed. The network only get 10k-50k viewers a day on average and if it weren’t for FIM it probably wouldn’t even get that. So yea drop Discovery and put G5 on Netflix!!

Yeah they’re moving MLP, then they’ll work on the next generation.

Or maybe Disney’s streaming service, since Hasbro manufactures their toys.
