The leaked premises and rejected/early episodes came with just about every single asset made for the show including the early pre-release pilot, early builds and alternate versions of songs, several episodes, scripts, more e-mails, the whole shebang. Really there’s so much shit in here, several hundred gigs worth, that would fuck up a lot of people’s internet. Why would you make fake ones when there’s already everything there? That makes no sense
 
Leaks being fake? “they sound like fix fics” is the only argument

“Leak” is kind of an understatement, most if not all of DHX’s work files have been uploaded, roughly 250g of data. It’s still being dug into by whoever is interested, with tidbits coming out every so often.

Okay, so I read through all of them. Some of them sounded like really great ideas not gonna lie, but a lot of them sounded WAY too good to be true.

Chrysalis and Trixie never interacted with one another at any point, so correct me if I’m wrong, but that conclusively means that Kathleen Barr didn’t get to talk to herself in this show, and I think there might have been potential on that one.

I just realized something disappointing.

I’m not sure they have much chemistry to be honest, somewhat ironically. Trixie thrives best when paired with someone more serious, high strung and moral who she can contrast.

Right About Everything
Bear in mind that we don’t know the full history of these leak ideas. Plenty of times I’ve had a great idea for a story, only for it to fall apart on me when I finally come to write it.
 
Most of them were probably abandoned for a reason.
 
The Pillars becoming teachers at the school in particular sounds like a cool idea, that just seems difficult to work to me due to the sheer number of characters to juggle. It seems a recipe for a lack of focus. And Royal Problem with just Twilight seems like it has the opposite problem, there’s not really enough characters to really sell the drama. Adding Starlight, Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon makes things a lot more interesting and dramatically active.

The closest was surprisingly not Where and Back Again, but that scene in the finale where she says goodbye to Starlight and I was all “I know why she got a line!”.
