The most obvious counter is that we only saw 12 ponies who were making active efforts, and that there could be more civilians who oppose it but weren’t given screen time, but to that, the most obvious counter is that if 12 was a vast minority, they would’ve been run out of the valley. Also, it’s like my classmates who claimed that a documentary was unfairly biased for showing overwhelmingly oppositional commentary toward Robert Moses’ construction project that led to the Cross Bronx Express, opposition to which was due to it negatively affecting the lives of Bronx folk. Those who would look favorably on the project weren’t likely to be living with its effects daily.

In a Love to Hate sort of way… well, granted, her smugness kind of gets to me.
 
She’s interesting to me, all of them are, but she’s my least favorite of the Legion of Doom.
 
But as for that comment specifically, getting flirty with Shining Armor like that would possibly be kinda close to say, a rapist taunting their victim. Well, maybe not that extreme, but taking pleasure in your previous actions in a way like that would be very scummy.
 
Which is why I’m glad I know that scenario probably isn’t going to happen.

chrysalis was the leader, she had to be stronger also if she’s was hoarding all the love, she would be able to transform into powerful monsters and tried fighting​ starlight and company since she hoards all the love and gets strong from it instead of running away and she always takes the form of ponies while phanynx can change into a giant monster bug. Starlight would of had the chance of being rescue by a pegusus and survived to stop cozy. The mane six aren’t the only ponies, she can feed off also she doesn’t really need army to feed herself, she’s a changeling she can feed off ponies by going under the radar as different ponies.

Are we really going the route that Chrysalis hoarding love(which has not been confirmed) is why she’s so powerful, not that she’s a queen and inherently different from her subjects?

Gotta set up that spin about her redemption achtually not being all that bad despite how it goes against her entire character arc, eh?

Depending on how she get redeemed(ie. rainbow bugged or not), it’s not gonna fit with her arc because she barely has one.
 
We still have absolutely no idea her opinion on the process beyond a simple ‘i hate it because i hate it’.
 
That’s a crucial piece missing from the process. I’d like to think it’s not because the writers have realized there’s no good, child-friendly way to take that while still setting up a redemption so they just quietly shuffled it under a rug.

Chrysalis is a dangerously ambitious conqueror who wants to acquire as much “wealth” as she can, even if it means force of arms. Honestly, I don’t know if people like that can redeem themselves. At the very least, it’s not easy, and couldn’t be done well in a show like this.

Evil kings have a nice track record of being killed in this show (Sombra, the Storm King).
 
I kinda hope Chrysalis doesn’t reform, and either dies, or gets imprisoned in the place she’s banished to, so you can say the same for an evil queen (well, former queen).
 
That, and I kind of want to see the reaction from her fanboys/fangirls.

To date, Chrysalis is the only villain to outright reject the Magic of Friendship. If anyone’s dying, it’s her, and I like that. Everyone deserves a second chance, but she refused hers and so suffers the consequences.

I don’t want Chrysalis to die, but I’d rather she die than reform. Either one happening would be destroying her character, and quite frankly, she’d at least have more dignity if she were to die.

What’s wrong with her getting re-formed?

Hmm… why redemption OR death? They often go hand-in-hand, after all.

Well, it’s not like there are no possible good designs for that - but I don’t know how she’d fit into their society.
 
No, the most redemption I want from her is a sacrifice - same for Tirek.

Because she already has rejected a second chance before, and giving her another one after that is pushing it.

At this point, it’s best to let her be killed or remain a villain after the show ends rather than give her the olive branch.

You either die a villain or live long enough to see you become a hero.

There’s a third option: that she’s given a free pass out of Equestria as her reward for working together with Cozy and Tirek in using their knowledge of the Bell to defeat Grogar.
 
Then again, knowing the staff we deal with, there’s also the increasingly non-zero possibility of friendship being used for that and of her being mutated as a side-effect, with her entire personality doing a sudden 180 for the sake of convenience and a happy ending with the mutants instantly accepting her S5 finale style. Don’t have to deal with character inconsistencies if you just magic it into something else entirely!
 
I’ve come to expect it won’t end well, I simply wish we wouldn’t get jackasses thinking that the worst outcome is to be seen as comeuppance for so-called “haters” daring to be hoping for something better.

Spontaneously, yes - but not if her behaviour indicates a big change of character.
 
I honestly don’t know how it’s going to go with those three - there are a lot of possibilites, some of which work better than others. The only thing I’m pretty sure is that Cozy won’t die.

I think it’s going to be the Legion of Doom’s fault the Windigos come back.
 
There’s three of them if you don’t count Grogar, there’s presumably three Windigos again, there’s three pony races, Chrysalis commented on Discord “really being something before friendship ruined him,” and there’s also the line of hers that The Summer Sun Setback ended on. I’m not actually seeing how Grogar factors into the main problem, if he does, other than him possibly being incapacitated first thing.
 
One possibility those three have (or two of them, or one, depends on what happens) is they decide to stop fighting the heroes so the Windigos won’t ice up everything, up to and including themselves. If Chrysalis was so self-destructive she couldn’t even stop for that, wouldn’t surprise me.
