Given The Alicorn Amulet, Sombra’s Magic Being called Alicorn Magic and NMM/Daybreaker I would actually be disappointed if these plot threads were all nothing important and Alicorn’s don’t have a dark side

It was more of a visual thing. Sombra’s dark magic looks exactly the same as the alicorn magic Twilight used to activate Zecora’s flashback potion.

Yeah, mostly Spike and Shining Armour and Spike and Big Mac, all feel forced as hell and feel that its only there because these three are the “Token Males”
 
Although Steven Magnet and Cranky was decent for a comedy plot

It still really rankles me that Spike and Shining Armor have never had any really meaningful screen-time together. You’d think they’d be pretty close…

Even O&O is the perfect excuse to give them a bro scene together, if nothing else. Yet despite popping up 2 or 3 times now the guy most associated with it is never mentioned.
