I remember one MLP comic that he did after the Season 2 finale where everyone in the party literally started vomiting blood and puking their guts out while in Spike’s case, getting set on fire. It was because of one of Curt’s characters lacing the entire banquet of food with poison.

it’s kinda too late but I always felt that he “punched above his weight” in terms of Impact among the fandom, The guy had very little screen time with half of them being a fantasy and him not talking , yet he has more fan content than characters that played much bigger roles
 
In tiers of popularity, he’s among the most talked about of the “lower tier” who always had the potential to move up a few steps had the writers decided to give him more roles in the early seasons , like not as popular as Trixie but I could see him being as popular as say Gilda
 
it’s too late now as the momentum he had from the season 1 finale is gone , The hate he had has calmed down and most people who were interested in him had lost interest with few of us left
 
90% of his fanart these days are from a few Bluetrix Fans who are too dedicated to quit after so many years, unless if he plays a decent minor role in a future episode he will be forgotten about for good

Yeah, that happened. I wasn’t there when the comic first got published because that was in 2012 at around the same time as the finale and I didn’t join the fandom until later, but based off of what I gathered, a lot of bronies gut offended and triggered by it all around Deviantart while the anti-brony crowd sat back and laughed.

I look up Gentle Giant on this site, and I get nothing concerning the band. no album art parodies, no song references, nothing. absolutely fucking nothing.

The show didn’t do recurring characters back then. Trixie was powered by the largest pony fansite on the web, and even that only got her a single episode and a minor role in Rainbow Rocks.

she was brought back even back when most minor characters only appeared once

Also, Magic Duel was originally supposed to be a season 2 episode, and season 2 was in production before they really knew how big the fandom was going to blow up.
