Unpopular opinion time

While we’re on the subject, I really dislike Faust’s alicorn OC and how said OC is often used as a literal creator goddess of Equestria in fanworks. Sometimes it works, but most of the time it just feels like they’re deifying Faust herself.

I’ve glanced at Faust’s visions for how the series should’ve been/would be.
 
It’s about 50/50 on ideas I think would’ve been good and ideas I don’t.
 
Either way, I’m happy with what we got.

Same. Especially her “Rainbow Dash wouldn’t be good big sister material” quote. That was terrible and I’m glad we got Rainbow being a cool big sister to Scootaloo in later seasons.

Does it really matter what Faust says about the show now? Im pretty sure mostof the questions she gets asked about the show now will just result in her shitposting.

I stopped caring about it a long time ago. I’m pretty happy with what we have on the show now.

Faust seems fine doing other things and letting the current showrunners dabble with her show, so I don’t see why other people would keep complaining.

Even when she was still on the show, a lot of what the show was came from the writers, editors, animators, etc… :P

We don’t know for certain if the show would have been better or worse if Faust was still in charge. Don’t like it when people try to keep pushing either end as being the right answer.

If Faust didn’t leave, I’m pretty sure Cadence wouldn’t have existed and Twilight wouldn’t have wings.

Because people don’t want to let it go, and rather complain years later about “Faust would never let that happen.”
 
 
I do prefer the later seasons of 4 5 and 7. 6 Doesn’t really hold up to the 3 later ones. But it still had it’s great moments.

I’m more bothered by people continuing to insist that Faust left because of Cadance/Alicorn Twilight/EQG/Insert-Thing-The-Person-Claiming-It-Dislikes-Here, when all that really happened was that she just wanted to move on to other projects.

All I know is I really like some of the things Faust has commented on not being on board with :P

Had Faust stayed we’d probably never got the RD/Scootaloo dynamic, judging by her comments, and I’d hate to live in that world
