i can’t remember, nor can i be bothered to check, if spike was there, so i included him. legally he’s considered a teenager because slaves younger than 12 are illegal in equestria. besides, i would assume the ponies are teenagers to young adults.

Yes, which is why I’m pretty much ignoring any new movies of the rebooted continuity and treating Star Wars “Legends” the canon universe.

yeah, that’s my problem. I get my hopes up too quickly, and when nothing gets done, I wallow around in disappointment and shame. I just wish the fandom had more say in the quality of the show – you know, like write to the producers in protest when they create a disasterbacle like “One Bad Seed”, any Spike-centric episode, or EqG 1 & 2.

I think you put way too much worth in your opinion, because all of those things (well, maybe not EG1) are very popular.
 
Edit: I also find it kinda hilarious how you state the EqG series has gone ‘stale’ and that the first two movies are terrible.

But that opinion doesn’t change the fact that Babs Seed is the forth most popular filly in the franchise, at least in terms of fan art. So someone must have liked it!

She’s absolutely vile in the episode, I also don’t like that she’s immediately forgiven because of her hard luck story, not after that behaviour.

The ending with Diamond Tiara getting scared at Babs’s threat to tell her mother about what she’s doing also no longer makes sense, given that we later learned that her mother actively encouraged her behavior.

Not really. Her mother wanted her to be a snob and a tyrant who wouldn’t even breath the same air as… ugh… commoners. Being a common bully isn’t exactly the conduct of champions.
