It’s clearly a girl’s design. No doubt that the animators decided to make her a girl and with no voice or mention of her gender, that’s the most canon thing we have to go on. If he’s trans or a feminine boy, that would require a direct statement to prove, but Jim is only talking about what was written and there was nothing saying that in the script.

The case of Lil Cheese’s gender is because the animators forgot to insert eyelashes in the model, and Jim, since doesnt work on DHX anymore, just simply said “fuck it” and threw the “its a boy” thing for the lulz.

I don’t have a problem with it being humans or high school - though the latter does risk pushing my “timeline button” - but I do have a problem with it being endless (and rarely interesting) shorts. I liked it fine during the movie era.

What I wish they did for EQG was instead of the CYOA shorts they instead do them as 7-8 mins shorts, since they’re about equivalent in runtime

Halfway into the last season for me actually :/

I’ve gone up and down, but this last season was when I gave up even trying to fit the show into my headcanon. Since it was close to the end, though, I kept watching.

I never had that much interest in watching the full show. Periodically I would watch some episodes from one entire season before dropping it entirely until the next season.

I wouldn’t say that I ever lost interest in the show, but season 6 was the start where I just wasn’t that excited for new episodes as I was in the past.

Season 6 was the first season I outright hated. It honestly surprised me coming off of season 5, which in my opinion, is the best season.

I will say that as the years went by, my once-flexible headcanon kind of hardened to the point where new canon stuff was almost as scary as it was exciting.

I never fully lost interest, but every so often came a blow to personal taste that took a bite of my enthusiasm.

I never lost interest in the show. Heck it never even waned really, outside of some episode sounding less interesting to me than others. I started watching around the week episode 5 was going to air and I watched every single one since then. I rarely lose complete interest in a show once I am invested. Sure I might get lazy and wait for a season to end to watch it all at once but I always keep up with what is going on in other ways.
 
Once I’m invested a show has to really screw up pretty badly for me to stop watching completely.
