Jay Fosgitt made a comment on Facebook about being harassed by the fandom over his art style. Either you can take it as a artist defending his livelihood or as someone who can’t accepted criticism, depending on how you fall, and with the internet it’s only one extreme or the other. Middle ground does not exist.

I’d say it’s both, somehow. And I think the problem is his laziness and bipedal ponies, nothing more.

Um, so the explanation can’t just be that no one has yet bothered to write an episode with Diamond Tiara since she changed? Because quite honestly, that seems the most likely explanation to me.

Yeah, I asked Jim Miller about it a few months back. I said that it felt like they were excluding Diamond and Silver from episodes, and his response was, “Not intentionally, no.”
 
They probably just haven’t figured out the right kind of thing for them yet.

Probably a bit of both.

Flutter brutter is really underrated. I rewatched it yesterday, and i was shocked at how much the I can do it on my own song hit me.

Going back to my CMC being too forgiving to Diamond arguement, they clearly can’t stand her during the election song and then after Silver left her they’re suddenly like “We should check if she’s ok.”. It just feels out of place.

I put it down to they’d just seen Silver Spoon humiliate her in front of the entire school.

Season 4 is the weakest season.
 
Which is funny, because back when it first aired that seemed to be the general consensus. Now it seems like people say it was one of the best.

in general, people always said it was the best, or among the better ones, especially after the finale.

When I think season two my mind wanders to episodes like Sweet & Elite. No one talks about it, but I rreeeally like that episode.

Jay Fosgitt shut down his Facebook profile due to getting hate for his artstyle, and like EOTD said, you either see it as him trying to silence criticism of his work, or a guy who has gotten fed up of all the hate, depending on what your overall opinion on him is.

The IDW artist with a cutesy style who can’t seem to draw ponies properly, drawing them bipedal and having trouble with cutie marks, such as switching two of the CMC cutie marks in Xrayhorse issue.

Season four is the strongest season in my opinion. Despite the occasional weak episode like EVERY season has, Season 4 has the best character development (especially for Pinkie of all characters), the best continuity, the best stories, the best humor, and (arguably) the best song numbers (You’ll play your part is still my absolute favorite song). It was the season that felt like the show was actually growing and progressing rather than being stuck in a rut like many episodic cartoons fall into.
