Is it because they are small? Yes, but it might be hard for animators if they make it bigger, the walking animation for them might have to change

My comment was prompted by seeing COTLM on TV earlier, it’s the design of them, 5 years in the making and they ended up with the worst cutie marks in Equestria, at the time I was in shock.

It’s a shield with their hobby in the centrer, since their destiny is to help others get/understand their Marks.

This site was kinda shitty when it first started, since we still had all the rolls from Ponibooru coming over and such.

I thought it was meaningful, coming from my artistic vision, they look really good. The spade represent the connection of the crusaders, inside the spade is their hobbies. The colors is their mane or coat color mix with each other quite well. Overall, it topped 4 my list of best cutie marks.

They do have shit marks.

The big problem with the CMC’s marks is that the inner part, representing themselves, is the same color scheme (that of their manes) as the shield, which representing their shared talent, which often causes the inner part to blend in. If the inner part were their coat colors or something (to further represent their shared destiny), they’d stand out more.
 
Apart from that, I think they’re just fine.

I think the cutie marks look good as well.

I want to make a PMV with the song It’s Gonna Be Okay, where it is shown all the best scenes and episodes of the show since Magical Mystery Cure. Admittedly, I have not experience in editing or putting together PMVs.

I think Twilight’s Kingdom was “good” at best.  
The animation was brilliant, but aside from that I see nothing too special that other episodes can’t provide.

I mean to anything Diamond Dog related. None of the things about them appeal to me. And most of the DD ocs I find don’t really appeal to me either.

Also, I still don’t like anthro’s where they have hands but not feet.
 
And a lot of brony musicians don’t appeal to me either.

I just do. Maybe it feels more natural and appealing than them with feet, and the SFM barley anthros don’t help.
