Unpopular opinion time

I love Lopoddity’s art. I think her art style is appealing, the characters are interesting, and the stories are engaging.
 
I don’t like MrMildock’s art. The art style is not very appealing and nothing else about it really sticks out for me.

I find underrated/underappreciated background ponies more interesting in terms of fan art and headcanons than the mane 6 most of the time.

I think we all feel like this sometimes. We always say “I do respect your opinion” But deep down we want to say  

I want to see timberwolves make a return.

Spider ponies aren’t cute. Shark ponies on the other hand, hell yeah.

Legitimate question, how many civil wars has this fandom went through?

I find it so weird that October 31st is Trixie day and not Nightmare Moon day or Princess Luna day.

The Summer Solstice (the longest day of the year) is the only viable choice for Princess Sunrump, so the Winter Solstice makes more sense for Princess Moonieheinie to keep things in harmony.

But Nightmare Night is basically Halloween, so it would make sense that Halloween would be Nightmare Moon day or Princess Luna day.

Sombra was cool. Also, I will warn you that the comic is good until the ending.

Don’t know if it was intentional but Luna’s chapter book is about the characters setting up a Winter holiday for Luna. So EQD setting their Luna Day in Winter could maybe be inspired by that to that too?

Honestly, i don’t think i have the guts to leave the fandom. Even if the product to some it’s not at it’s best right now. I just can’t do it. I don’t plan to. Met so many great people in this fandom and all around.

Legitimate answer, it kind of depends on what you consider the threshold for a “civil war”. There have been any number of fan fights over the years, regarding everything from big, show changing events down to relatively minor arguments, but not everyone is going to agree on whether it qualifies. Also applicable, separating out particular fights from larger ones can be difficult. Case and point, issues regarding the quality of season 3 could possibly be considered a bit of a civil war, but it also exists as a subset of the larger argument over the Equestria Girls franchise and the (repeatedly denied) rumor that the season suffered because of work on that first movie.
 
But on a less serious note, this is the internet. Civil war is so common here, even an amphetamine abusing Ken Burns on his 6th espresso of the day couldn’t keep up with it all.
 
Still, if you’re looking for the big ones, Derpy’s voice change, Season 3/Equestria Girls, Twilight becoming an alicorn, and Starlight Glimmer are the ones that stand out best in my mind.
