Unpopular opinion time

Equestria Girls is canon in the same way the comics are. Canon or non-canon status is kept up to the viewer, unless the main show acknowledges or denies it. FiM is the most important and writers do not have to take the other two into account when making episodes.
 
All that pony Flash’s appearances confirm is that there’s a pony Flash, not that Equestria Girls ever happened. Same with Trixie liking peanut butter crackers… it just means she likes them, not that Equestria Girls ever happened. What we need is something that actually confirms it, like a glimpse of the mirror portal or a picture of Sunset Shimmer in either Twilight or Celestia’s room.
 
The most damning thing against EG being canon, to me, is that scene in Equestria Games where Twilight and Spike all but outright deny that the first movie happened. I doubt it was intentional, Dave Polsky probably didn’t even know EG’s plot, but it still stands.

Also Samurai Jack’s original run was TV-Y7 and it’s not like they changed up too much, they just had all the stuff in the show actually hit the fan and are exploring it’s implications

God I miss the early to mid 2000s. Cartoons were so good. Then CN started being shit around 06 or 07.

The “City” era was fucking amazing. Then they tried their hand at live-action….then shit like Total Drama Island, Johnny Test and Flapjack happened. 2010 onwards was when they found their footing again…kinda.
 
I fucking swear all they play is Teen Titans Go and Gumball. Not only that, they’re reviving BEN FUCKING 10. Why? That shit had around a billion sequels, and the new one looks like most other 2010s cartoons.

Anyway, back to pony.

Also, to the person asking earlier, I’d say liking Flurry heart is the unpopular opinion, but hating her isn’t the most common opinion either. Apathy seems to be the most common. Which is fair enough to me. My prediction is she might see a path similar to Cadance and Shiny who were also considered really unnecesary and bland by their detractors.
 
She’s doesn’t really have enough focus for her to ruin anything, but each appearance might include a trait or a moment that wins her a few fans, until she gains a bit of a following.

She’s more annoying than anything to me. The Cakes went through the same thing with magic outbursts and flying all over the place, but the difference is Flurry is a fucking alicorn (still seriously disagree with that decision) and does way more damage.
 
Also her design isn’t as appealing. I think it’s the eyes.

I’ve been on the Flurry Heart hype train since day 1. I honestly would like to see more of her.

I wish this show had more memorable background music at times.

To be fair, TDI and Johnny Test were both Canadian imports and people who worked on Flapjack went on to create Adventure Time, Regular Show, and Gravity Falls.
 
Once SU and WBB ends, most of the adults watching CN will only tune in during Adult Swim.

On Netflix and Adult Swim respectively. CN itself has already revived two shows in the past four years and both are generally considered shit when compared to the original.

At this point I’m not sure, but if CN is still going to be its home than I’m hoping that the finale will end with as many loose ends tied up as possible because there is no guarantee that it will get renewed for a fourth even if popular demand is high.

The Season 7 premiere looks promising, I wonder who’s writing it? Also here’s the random character days:
