Half of the time I forgot Spike even exists in EG.  
He’s been getting the short end of the stick lately.  
How hard is it to implement a talking dog regularly in the series?  
I swear he has more screentime in the opening than the entire ‘Digital Series’ thus far and you would think we will see more him frequently because of that but nope..

The confusion is as the screencaps, originally didn’t have sources, which why multiple people thought of them as leaks.

Well, as I stated, guilt ove nearly killing everyone was only part of Sci-Twi’s issues in Leged of Everfree a (I think) bigger one, was that she feared she becomes Midnight again, and this time truly kills everyone.
 
And she was haunted by this, and thought of herself as a monster because of it. As I mentioned in my previous comment, her nightmare flat out shows that.
 
And that’s not even mentioning killing nearly the whole world, when under a changed mind, quite a heavy things to shoulder - I mean, multiple villains, when due to an influx of power nearly destroyed by the world, were traumatized by it - and Sci-Twi is a good person, making the guilt and trauma increadibly heavy.
 
But even if you think Sci-Twi wasn’t yet an exactly tragic character, don’t you think Twilight was visibly traumatized by her transformation, her nearly killing everyone, and fearing she can do it again? Quite probably to the point of a PTSD…especially that Sci-Twi did show some PTSD-like behaviour…

Am I the only one mildly annoyed EG is a YouTube series now?

Yeah, this can be a bit of an issue - but personally, it doesn’t get to my that much.
 
I do understand why it can annoy others though, and one could expect Hasbro woukd care more for quality official uploads - then again, is is Hasbro we are talking about…

They also used DHX craft copies (like the leaked incomplete S8 episode files) to make the Holiday Special trailer… (Hence, the odd-looking colors and weird audio)  
Yeah, Hasbro really couldn’t care less about their animation.  
They only care about selling merchandise.

The TV/Discfam app airings definitely have better coloration then the YT uploads.

Yup.  
The app’s video resolution has some issues tho. Like slight deinterlacing.  
Coinky-Dink World and Good Vibes had it the worst.  
And unfortunately, it’s the only copies we have without watermarks for said shorts. as of now

Yes, it seems at times (or even often) that Hasbro doesn’t care less about their animations, but the studios they have create their animations, do (at least seemingly) care, even a lot - which creates an interesting paradox…

Do you think it’s likely new episodes will be released on the discovery family app? If so, any ideas when? I think Nov or late Oct

You know this makes me wonder if in this picture, Sunset didn’ take over Twilight’s body, or at least a family member of hers (you’ll understand that refernce, if you know JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure).  
Also, a vampire Sunset fanart again (again, you’ll get that, if you know JoJo) - that became oddly popular, I guess thanks to the Sunlight fic by Albinocorn…

Also, about other serieses, and as I brought up Legend of Everfree a few times…
 
Do you guys and gals think it’s possible the design of the fake Gaea Everfree made up by Timber, was in part inspired by Durthu from Warhammer?  
 
 
 

 
I mention this, as it bugged me for some time.
 
This also makes me realize it’s a giant shame this design was only a “fake” Gaea Everfree, as this design is very awesome and quite “eldritch” (in more ways than one) - as I don’t think we got anything similar in Equestria Girls, or even FiM…

I haven’t heard of him before until you mention him but Gaea does kind of look like him and it is horrible that such a awesome design was wasted and she does look eldritch now that you mention it now I have another word to describe her also in what ways does she look eldritch to you?

Well, that Gaea Everfree has both an occultic, supernatual vibe to her, despite being vaguelly humanoid, comes of as very inhuman, and also in the original sense - Eldritch - “Elven”, “Fairy-like” but not fairy tale, or fantsy elves or fairies, but the primal Fair Folk of lore, like Sidhe, Huldra, Leshy, Spriggans, Rusalkas or “bigger” entities like the Master of the Wild Hunt, or the Queen of Air and Darkness (Mab, Cailleach, Morrigan), the Erlking, Baba Yaga, Frau Holda/Frau Holle etc.

And there of course is alos he Eldritch Abomination sense (to which I alluded with “occultic” and “inhuman” parts), even though fake Gaea Everfree alos counted kinda as a humanoid abomination, she visually and from feel one of most fitting in MLP of the Eldritch Abomination description.

Yeah, Sunset doesn’t want to start romantic stuff with Sci-Twi, to both take not adventage of Twilight (and not have Sci-Twi accidentally hurt herself), as well as not cheat on Flash.

Man, I have a guilty plessure for the Sunlight (the pony twi to be specific) pairing. And I don’t know what to do.

It’s a pretty neat pairing, especially considering how, despite their lesser interractions latelly, Sunset is devoted to pony Twilight.
 
It’s also almost certain they will meet again in the new special too.

I’m surprised I like the pairing at all, I’m not exactly romantic. In fact most of my pics related to the shipping I have in my faves usually have funny or amazing moments instead of typical cuddly ones, I’m still kinda subdued in that to be honest, and yet I like those two.
