I saw a few images of the short that seemed to show Sunset painting, so I decided to watch the short to confirm. Yup, she’s a painter now, and she speaks as though she’s been doing it for years. Another talent we never knew about, that seems to have materialized out of thin air, just like nearly all of her talents do.
 
I’m simply wondering how much this has to happen, and how long she has to show that she has zero flaws before I’m not the only one claiming that Sunset is perfect.

You know I’ve never like that line of thinking cause if you say your a fan yet hate 50% plus of what you like, I consider you a fan. The only time is when you’re out to just needlessly complain about the thing, that you’re a person who’s watching it solely to bash it, then I find that okay. But most of the other times it’s not.

This isn’t it the first time this has happened you know. Were you there when pony Rarity suddenly started shredding that guitar? We’ve never seen her do it before yet here she is.

Like who fucking cares dude, it’s so insignificant. Even if Starlight could paint like that I wouldn’t care because it’s just a fucking painting. She’s in an art class! It’s not unreasonable to think she’s gotten good at it over the years.

Well, she’s probably been taking the school’s art class during all the time she’s been there. So, yeah she has been painting for years. Regardless, I don’t see what you mean about her talking like she’s some kind of expert. Her advice is “Go try and get inspired” and “paint a subject that you enjoy” which is the most basic bitch creative advice you can give someone.

I have to admit, it’s pretty jarring seeing Sunset in her old outfit like this.
