Let’s just say that the episode does incite drama and it provides some sort of closure for the CMC

With a title called The Last Crusade, that sounds about right. I also saw a small part of the start when I was testing the sound quality. I take it that’s Scoot’s gay aunt at the house?

Well the episode doesn’t outright say that their lesbians, but it does imply that judging by how close they are.

And a book featuring Scoots says that they were, hence how I knew about them and that if I didn’t had my filters set, I’d likely be drowning in “OMG CANON LESBIANS!!!” pics.

Just know that without revealing any spoilers, it does put a closure to the CMC’s arc, and shows that Scootaloo has aunts who may or may not be lesbians judging by your interpretation. Just be warned of the obvious drama brought on by this episode after you finish watching it on Wednesday. I personally enjoyed the episode myself, and I don’t know if it could be the same to you.

Honestly, I think that people talking about homophobic reactions may be a bit overblown. Maybe that’s just due to me finding an older pic quite awhile ago that called everyone who didn’t ship Lyra/Sweetie Drops homophobes that tainted my view on things.

You can make yourself bad either way if you act homophobic or accuse someone else of being homophobic for so and so reason.

Like someone accused me when I called them out on trying to pressure an artist into drawing Pride stuff when they didn’t show any indication of drawing any.

It feels more like they want to have a dick measuring contest with non-LGBT people rather than have LGBT people accepted and seen as normal people to me, especially when they use fictional characters who aren’t the sexuality/identity in the canon instead of themselves or characters who are.
