I think the show would’ve gotten stale if the same writers stayed, considering burnout and overtime you will hit writer’s block and will resort to writing the same thing again and again.

Well I do think that things like that are inevitable in a show that goes past let’s say 5 or 6 seasons even with a rotating writing crew and this show is no exception. I’m not denying that recently there’s been a lot of rehashed plots and duds in the series, but I think that unlike other long runners, they at least seem to know what they’re doing.

Same. It has some rot, but nothing as bad as other sreies, and it does have its end in sight, so it shouldn’t become that bad.

What I’m hoping for is that people won’t start doomsaying and saying that the finale will be disappointing and bad like GOT or SVTFOE based off of what I’m hearing.

If no one is smug about Chrysalis, Tirek and Cozy are friends in the final, I’m going to be disappointed.
