Starlight Glimmer Appreciation Thread

I don’t want this thread to become like other thread just posting pictures and no conversation.

The good thing that this thread is been very quiet in the past hours. But I doubt that the activity here will slow down, after all, everyday they publish images of Glimmy (as a screencap, art, plushie, etc.)

I kind of agree with him though. I wish we’d have more actual discussion of what we like about Starlight rather than just spamming cute pictures.

So far we need to wait until season 9 because there is nothing to discuss about Glimmy as far as I know.

Honestly I’m going to admit it, I also would like more discussions about Starlight. Don’t get me wrong, I love all the images and all that, but it does get pretty stale.

Some Starlight discussion would be nice, like what will they do with her in S9, or list the reasons why you like her and what turned you onto her

The second option won’t apply to me, though I’ll be a bit heartbroken since i’m a StarTrix shipper.

At this point of how cartoons had move on in relationships Startrix is possible. But don’t take it personally, I prefer her with friends. A relationship would be a chaos around the fandom and I like her as it is. Probably time will change that but for now that’s how I like it.
 
But, if she has a relationship it would be good either with Trix or Sunburst than anyone else.

I know it will be chaos and I get why the showrunners don’t want to attempt that. But if it does happen, then cool.

About the wings on Starlight, I really don’t want to happen due to the massive amount of people complaining about it and I get used to see her as an skillful unicorn who’s a counselor at Twi’s School.
 
The shipping I really don’t care about it because for me the shippings are irrelevant to me and as long Glimmy is happy with that special somepony, I’ll be fine and won’t get annoyed about it.

Not only the drama is what I worry, it will prove that she’s probably an authentic Mary Sue (Yes I know, we are in the appreciation thread) The fact that Twilight could get her wings in 3 season with a lot of effort while Starlight gets it without even trying is just a bad idea. That’s why I love as how she is. Without changes.

You know, I doubt that the writers are going to give her wings. She doesn’t look like the one who deserves them.

I agree, I love Starlight on how she is in personality and I really prefer to have more adventures with other individuals than the mane 6 (to have more variety)
