Keep in mind it’s not a fully realized and constructed plot line, so just bear with me.
Okay, so like, the league is studying the book, so far they can’t control the bell but they know what it does and are pretty horrified at the pictures. They know how it was made and point out it was a special ritual when Grogar comes back. They scramble to hide the book and mostly succeed, what with Chrys and Cozy being master manipulators, but Tirek falters and sweats a little. Grogar seems to lose suspicion, they sigh with relief, only for him to magically punch the wall next to Tirek and get his bell from its hiding place. They’re all like, ‘NO’ and mistaken reveal the book at the same time. Grogar pins them to the wall again and talks trash to them, “You really thought you could hide your weak little plots from
me?!” and incinerates the book. Now he warns that since they crave his secrets so much, they will get to experience its power
firsthand.
Then we go back to the heroes, it’s mostly the same, except they meet a special guest, the son of scorpan, who is visiting for the equestrian change of command as his father was ‘too ill to make the journey at his age, but wanted to show his solidarity to the new ruler’.
Then we’re back to the villains, grogar leading them by magic chain through the forests, close to canterlot. He then activates the bell with some reverse black speech shit and hits some narwhal-ish creature, which bounces and hits cozy, which fuses the two and she’s an alicorn, with a functional horn. She’s confused before Grogar scoffs and says ‘narwhals are among the most magical of creatures, you stupid little girl’. She gets real offended and tries to zap him, but her power is forced back into her horn and she’s forced to kneel. Grogar reveals that the bell has not only the power to create monster through fusion, but also to command the creatures made by it. He then commands her to attack some such target and she buzzes off.
Chrysalis say she’ll never bow to Grogar, and he’s all like, ‘soon, you won’t have a choice’, and reveals some cages with a zapfly, star spider, and flyder, and fuses her with all of them, creating a horrible screaming monstrosity incapable of speech anymore. He sends her off.
And he rounds on Tirek, saying that if he knows what’s good for him, he’ll know his place and stand down. Tirek, actually looking scared, simply awaits his orders, which he gets.
And here’s where things get real fuzzy.
I do have a climax, but perhaps i should post separately from the setup.
