I haven’t really seen as much hate for 26 though. The worst of it seem to be about Twilight and Spike’s older looks, but that’s like really overshadowed by the finale hate.

Even if FiM is comeing to an end or if the fandom dies or not,im just glad to be in a fandom that fits me and i am happy about it being in the my little pony fandom even if i did not followed the show much.At least we can continue for the future of MLP i am glad to meet bronies like you all and im glad to make friends as a brony.

Some people arent happy with how Grogar turned out to be Discord and also they arent happy with what happened to Cozy, Tirek and Chrysalis, which I honestly think is just kinda dumb. They argue about how they dislike that villains are being reformed and then when the “final villains” show that they clearly arent redeemable, people get mad that they were turned to stone instead.
The Grogar part I could understand why you might dislike the twist but at this point the hate on the finale is just being blown out of proportion, it really just suffers from a rushed story and some sloppy writing that was caused by them kinda backing themselves into a corner story wise leading up to the finale. But its not awful. Of course theres some other details people are nitpicking but most of the hate seems to be focused on Discord and some of the writing.
Now for episode 26 the only real issue some people have is with the older designs of Twilight and Spike and then a few continuity errors or loose ends that were never tied up, which I dont really think retracts from anything story wise and they really dont seem like that big of an issue.
Overall people just think it was a bit sloppy, but as I said a lot of it is being blown out of proportion. Also take into account that the episodes are in Dutch and while there are subtitled versions now a lot of people watched the episodes initially when those werent available and they havent gone back to re-watch with actual understandable dialogue so a lot of assumptions have been made off of visuals alone with no actual context or dialogue. Which is obviously very important, so a lot of hate is being thrown about caused by peoples own assumptions of what the context or dialogue is and thats whats making this a bigger issue than it needs to be.

Jesus dude calm the fuck down, stop overreacting its a cartoon about technicolor ponies made for little girls. The last 3 episodes aren’t even that bad yet people are going around acting as if the world is ending. Sure it’s not the most imaginative, redefining, mind blowing finale ever but people like you going around shitting on it and saying its the “worst finale in modern media history” is just as much if not more of a problem than the so called one you have about people saying its not that bad.

I mean, just from the visuals, those are exactly my problems with it (aside of a few minor ones), but since we have no context whatsoever to judge from, i can’t judge these episodes until their official release.
And the latter was especially true - it seems like some people don’t see the context for obvious reasons, and just assume there isn’t any.

I’ve been thinking about this fanfic idea where after the events of the two parter, a unicorn transfers Cozy Glow’s soul to a pig and becomes the pet to a pair of twin fillies and their uncle. She is still able to talk and down the line gets reformed. The pig’s soul on the other hand is stuck inside Cozy Glow’s stone body.

I don’t hate these ships but the CheesePie ship kinda came out of nowhere, there was never any build up and it doesn’t help only Pinkie end up having a family while the rest of the mane five didn’t.
