I agree. After nine years things have gotten a bit complicated an if you where a new fan looking it it would be hard to catch up.
 
I sincerely hope that g4 either continues past FIM or that ‘g5’ is really just a soft reboot. Maybe if they moved to an 11 minute format and focused on the characters again, now that the world has been built?

I understand. I’m gonna unsubscribe from this thread now unless a similar situation happens with next week’s episodes.

Recent episodes are kind of meh. They would be okay as 5/10 episodes for Season 8 or S6, but for final season? Nah. The most jaw dropping moment this season was probably revealing Fluttershy’s feelings for Discord and maybe Scoots parents. Other than that only villains had good episodes. And if we won’t get the first Discord episode this season, i will need to rate it lower than S8. There are just no excuses to not give him his last episode when you feel comfortable to give StarlightxTrixie two episodes to end their story arcs.

Oh i almost forgot. Handling the end of Sparity was probably the most insulting, and im speaking as someone who never shipped Sparity due to how creepy it was. Josh just comepletely wings it and make Spike get over it offscreen before the episode happen. And uses the most random character that nobody would ever pick. Why even put so much effort with bonding SPike and Smolder if you’re just ignore it? I just think Josh wrote the script in one day and didn’t even think about characters that would hang out with Spike and would make sense. And Rarity acting so petty and evil also ruined her image as this is probably her last episode in the series.

Four episodes left excluding the finale. Who of the Mane 6 has had one episode this season but not two? They’re probably in the rest.
 
EDIT: Pinkie Pie and Applejack. If we count episodes 17 and 20 as dual focus episodes that leaves two left over, and 24 is likely to be an all Mane 6 episode. This leaves one episode left over, and I doubt it’s a CMC episode.

I’d be happy with one more pinkie pie episode…goodbye pinkie. :(

I just want one more RD episode with the Wonderbolts and/or Daring
 
Episode 15 would be such an unbelievably shitty final episode for her that it’d end up ruining the rest of the season to the point I won’t even bother watch the finale

Looks like every main character is getting two episodes except the CMC, with the second Princesses and villains episodes combined into one. In other words, 2, 4, 6, Great is indeed RD’s final episode. That’s absolutely pathetic, in a way.
