Season 9 coming to Netflix?

I checked, and not many people are talking about season 9 coming to Netflix US anytime soon. Has there been any word on this, or is this going to be like last year? Some seasons and episodes were randomly deleted when Hasbro and Netflix were trying to reach a deal.

That was more like 3 years ago, but yeah, it’s weird (as is the lack of DVDs for the last two seasons). Heck, we still don’t even have the 2017 movie on Netflix.

I’ve been wondering about that myself. I have a friend who always watches all the episodes that way, and even asked me recently if I heard anything about it. But, thus far, I haven’t seen or heard anything.
 
I’m also curious if they’re ever going to make season 8 and 9 available on DVD. I know they’re available other ways, but I like having a physical copy too.

Australian, and in a cruel irony Hulu is about the only major English language streaming service we don’t have…

The other seasons are on Hulu as well, so I wouldn’t rule it out just yet.

I live in Australia, Hulu is not available here, and most likely won’t be within my lifetime.

I mean that if the other 8 seasons are on both Hulu and Netflix, then I wouldn’t rule out season 9 coming to Netflix yet.

Just use a VPN to disguise your connection as being from the US, giving you access to Hulu, which gives you access to MLP season 9.

Won’t work, Hulu also requires you have a US/JP postal address confirmed specifically to avoid that.

Seasons 1-8 remain on Netflix and the first half of season 9 is on Hulu. This is mad annoying for me because I have the second half of the season spoilered here and I just wanna watch it.

So I guess that’s unofficial confirmation Season 9 is never coming to Netflix. Now if only someone from Hasbro could confirm or deny that…

No, I just checked and the only EQG movies that are no longer on there are the first two. Though they’ve still yet to add Sunset’s Backstage Pass, Holiday Wrapped, or Rainbow Roadtrip…

Well, there are some local streaming services here, but the only one that has the show here at all only has episodes 10-18 of Season 8. And the show isn’t airing on TV anymore.

Wow, Hulu needs to chill. IMO, don’t think they should ban you and still charge you extra because you wanted to watch season 9 but u couldn’t because of stupid regional restrictions….
