Season 8 Episode Discussion [Spoilers, possible leaks, rumours etc.]

It was Rarity or Fluttershy who appeared the least in Season 7, and Mane 6 appearances per season are slowly dropping for all of them as they’re shoehorned into fewer episodes for the sake of appearances (such as Pinkie’s “Veggie salad” in One Bad Apple, which I’m surprised JoshScorcher rated a 6/10)

They likely changed the schedule because they don’t actually have the episodes to run (like they did last year after they ran out), and not to appease angry Americans.

Rob Lowe was pretty cruel about the Halifax explosion recently which pissed a lot of people off. If he’d joked about something like Pearl Harbor or 9/11 he would’ve been crucified, but since it wasn’t an American disaster it was okay.
 
And what I really mean is that Canada is looked at as a joke at best or outright hated at worst. The amount of entitlement on Equestria Daily over Treehouse maybe getting the episodes first was really annoying.

Recent years made it clear that a certain portion of Americans absolutely adore Russia now. Canada wasn’t this lucky, much the opposite.
 
That and Equestria Daily’s staff hasn’t exactly been promoting healthy discussion on their website. They get the comment sections they deserve.

Well it’s an old event that’s not Holocaust-tier. You see Titanic jokes on occasion. Depends though on his delivery.
 
I wanna see an Halifax-level explosion. I wanna believe the season four finale delivered that, but I doubt it.

As a Canadian. I’m actually somewhat glad they decided not to go through with the early airing.
 
Last season was absolute chaos on my body clock. Not to mention having to constantly keep things spoilered until the official American airing of the episodes.  
Sure some people could say that I could have voluntaritly followed my own schedule to coincide with the official airing. BUT that doesn’t get rid of the fact that the episodes have already aired, and it’s even more painful for me to be kept in the dark especially while other people are talking about the contents.

Fuck that. it’s not about what channel or country gets them first, it’s about airing them too fucking fast for the fandom and fan artists to properly discuss and digest them.
 
A sane release schedule gets you more discussion and more art.
