How likely do you think it is that Scootaloo’s lesbian aunts will appear in the show next season?

Who knows; the inane rage from people whining about “progressives” and “liberal” pushing the “LGBT agenda” all the while they have 4000 lesbian porn images faved would be ~fun~.
 
Realistically Hasbro still wants the show to air in Russian and muslim countries, where something like this would be banned (and could lead to banning the entire show or company).

If they show up, they won’t be any implications they’re lesbians. In the book, they’re not even implied that way. They could just as easily be implied as odd couple friends who live together. Y’know like Bert and Ernie.

I didn’t say they’re not confirmed. I’m saying its not ganna be implied for practical reasons that @The Smiling Pony mentioned.

If they show up, they won’t be implied to be lesbians, but I could see them being implied to be very close to one another in a way to skirt around them being lesbians.

If they show up they’ll be Best Friends.

Well everything else is getting their stuff incorporated. Wouldn’t be much different if the books are foreshadowing new show material too.

Wiimeiser always brings up Babs apropos to nothing and also as of late characters or events from the Fallout Equestria fanfic. Puppysmiles is the protagonist from the Fallout Equestria: Pink Eyes fan fic.

I don’t know, it’s not the least bit uncommon for certain components to be introduced in the expanded canon before they appear in the show.
 
Pinkie’s sisters were first named through one of the first chapter books, well over a year before they debuted in the actual show. And of course there’s the Legends stuff.

In a recent book, Scoots is being taken care of by two ‘aunts’ that seem rather…close instead of her parents.
 
And some guy on the show said they’re unrelated and a couple.

A recent chapter book says Scootaloo lives with two Aunts, only one of which is explicitly said to be related to Scoot’s father.
 
Then there’s the fact Mike Vogel straight up called them a “cute couple” on his Twitter, which could easily be taken in that context but he’s probably trying to keep it vague.

No it confirmed that she has parents but they travel a lot.

Also isn’t Scoots’ dad implied to be an earth pony?
