I somewhat doubt that Hasbro was planning for Starlight to become an alicorn all the way back when she was first introduced since Larson and Haber mentioned once that after The Cutie Map was finished they had no solid story arc for Starlight planned out.

That image also has unicorn Twilight, and Glimmer looks like the most generic pony vector the artist could find.

Im still nervous. This whole season has me on edge.

You’re right, and Rarity is strangely missing there. Looks like something straight out of Generalzoi’s Pony Creator. But it still looks too close to be brushed off. he colours and tail style, are so much the same. I want to think it’s all a lucky coincidence of some kind.
 
Since the latter half of season is still not technically finished yet according to Jim. We don’t have any spoilers for the upcoming episodes aside from their titles and synopsis. Meaning, they are liking over with the writing and approval part. All that is left would probably be the processing of the episodes themselves.
 
Only the finale of the season is still a complete mystery though. I say be prepared for any potential bomb shells coming up near the end of mid-season hiatus or after.

The scripts for the show and the voice work are typically finalized and complete about nine months to a year in advance of the episode’s premiere. It’s the storyboarding, and animation done overseas that takes up the vast bulk of production time.
 
Assuming that the leaker who gave out the titles/synopsis’ for most of the episodes didn’t get caught yet, we might get info on the final before the end of next week.

Man…this is driving me crazy. I want to believe AJ’s parents will be dead, but I’m just not sure.
 
On the one hand, we have the staff’s confirmation that they’re dead, as well as AJ’s “If mom and dad were here…” line.
 
…But I just cannot see Hasbro approving an episode focusing on two ponies who will be confirmed dead. It would probably be the most morbid thing the show has done up to this point, and up until now, it’s always shied away from the subject of death whenever it could.

I’m not sure if The Perfect Pear would even confirm if they’re dead, missing, or on vacation. I figure the easy thing to do is stick with your headcanon until the show proves otherwise.

For at least the next two weeks, if not much longer.
 
Discovery Family is going to have a three-week hiatus on June 24th, July 1st and July 7th in which they’re going to run the Equestria Girls specials in the time-slot. The last episode to run on the 17th will be Not Asking For Trouble, so 11 episodes in is the mid-season hiatus after all. Treehouse simply ran out of episodes.
