I’d really hate it if she gets reformed. Her finale should involve her being sent to Tartarus or something, not being goody-goody with Starlight and the Remane 5.

This is the way I see it.

I’m banking on a recurring villain role.

Would be nice to see some one shot characters return. Sky Stinger and Vapor Trail. Quibble. Countess Coloratura.

I honestly don’t understand what people find of so special in the S1 in general. There are so many many many more flaws in that season than in S2,3,4,5 and 7 putted together (I didn’t put the S6 because with that one we surpass it quite a bit). The pilot was childish, Ticket Maste was CRINGY and childish, Boast Busters was terrible, Call of the Cutie was boring, Feeling Pinkie Keen was insulting, Stare Master was dreadful AND annoying, The Show Stoppers was incredibly stupid, same for Over A Barrel and A Bird in The Hoof was disgusting. Frankly I firmly believe that most of its devoted fans are just blinded by the fact that Lauren Faust directed that season, without even realizing the EVIDENT problems of that season and they also trend to be jerks about that…. if I think about the fact that an innocent boy gave up his life because those people…

I don’t think it’s quite that bad but I agree it’s one of the weakest seasons.

I really like all those episodes, even now.
 
Three and six are the only seasons I consider poor, and even they had their moments.

EpisodeS. I think I know what the episode you’re talking about is (Everyone know it’s Bendy) but she also wrote The Little Pea, A Lost Claus and she was also part of the writing of Fosters Go in Europe. She’s not the goddess of writing people claim her to be, and if they started to watch this show only because her name involved in it (and I WASN’T one of them back in 2011) and bashed it because her leaving, those people just deserve to burn in the fire…

Oh yeah, the idolatration over Lauren Faust is also one of the reasons I hate Double Rainboom so much: DOING A FORCED SHITTY CROSSOVER WITH ONE OF HER PAST CARTOONS DOESN’T MEAN FOLLOWING HER VISION YOU MORONS.

I at least try to make my MLP/Simpsons crossover make sense (Fun fact, Celestia tried to conquer what is now that Springfield before moving to Equestria via stargate. In the dark ages.)

Meh. The later seasons are better because of build up, but I still enjoy season one a lot.
 
But even if I like her work in genral, I do agree that the worship Faust gets from elements of this fandom even to this day is disproportionate.
