Also, starlight’s power is worthless because skills are determined by the plot in a show like this. Star couldn’t beat Pharynx XD
 
I think with Fluttershy, it doesn’t bother me as much as it does you, but I do remember disliking stuff like Fluttershy flying faster than RD in Return of Harmony.

I’m fairly certain that this has been entirely consistent with Fluttershy’s character throughout the show.
 
The fact that she’s tougher than she looks, able to do incredible things when pushed to the limit.

I think it rubs some people the wrong way because shy is “generally” a character who’s never played as being in the wrong all that often. A character who excels at everything when she gets over her insecurities. She’s like Gilgamesh from the Fate series in terms of unstoppability XD, only replace arrogance with timidness.

It’s supposed to be more obvious with Fluttershy because of how she is. Beware the Nice Ones is a super common trope nowadays.

Though, I thought Fluttershy’s physical strength was a known thing by now. I mean, she beat a bear.

You know, I’ve noticed that a lot of people are fixated on the Meadowbrook != Eastern Unicorn retcon, asuming the worst and calling out the writers for not having Twilight addressing it in dialog.
 
But the fact that Meadowbrook was an earth pony is conveyed only to the viewer. Twilight and Fluttershy are just reading nondescript entries on personal journals. The lack of a horn wouldn’t come up there, so Twilight might very well still be under the impression that she was an eastern unicorn.
 
The fact that mage is her title, and that, according to the records Fluttershy found, she was still considered a sorceress on top of being a healer, all point to her being a magic practitioner. And in pony culture magic = unicorn.

The fact that Twilight didn’t connect Masked Healer = Mage Meadowbrook suggests Twilight doesn’t know that much about her.

Well, according to Fluttershy she had to translate texts from olde ponish in order to find out the truth.
 
Also, if she was both, it makes sense for Twilight to be more familiar with the sorceress part.
 
And note that both Fluttershy and Zecora only know about the healer aspect of Meadowbrook through her Mystical Mask title.
 
For whatever reason, at some point in equestrian history, records of Meadowbrook separated the sorceress aspect from the healer aspect and two legends were born.

You know, I like how they made Meadowbrook simply “disappeared” just so they don’t have to go through the “death” route.

It’s implied the finale will involve the Legends six somehow.

If that were the case, I know exactly how it work. Probably.
 
Twilight and friends (or maybe a villain) travels back in time and brings the Legends into the future. It would explain how and why they mysteriously disappeared and doesn’t make any paradoxes.

The synopsis pretty much confirms they’re all “lost to time” and Twilight breaks them all out of dimensional prison with magic so they can team up to fight the pony of shadows

Surprise! Rumble will be your season 8 finale villain.

So the Wonderbolts will be there. I’m guessing the episode will show Thunderlane being a Wonderbolt now. We had a small cameo from him in full Wonderbolt gear earlier in the season.
