Season 7 episode discussion - non-leaked/early version

I’m not too worked up on the ending. I’m not pretending that it doesn’t exist or anything, its just I enjoyed everything else in the episode. True it would’ve been an amazing episode if they would’ve done something about the parents, but what they DID focus on is what makes it worth for me.
 
I have also eased up on Hard to Say Anything. It’s nowhere near a “top 10 episodes of all time” contender, but it was a decent watch.

Even though season 6 contains two episodes that are in my top five favorite MLP episodes of all time, I like season 7 more so far.

He has feathered bangs. I get it. But remember that Fluttershy used feather as a swear and his name takes on a new meaning.

So, who’s ready for tomorrow’s Applejack episode? Just think, that will bring us a mere two episodes from everyone else who watched the Canada versions.

She was adorable

I liked Honest Apple, but I thought AJ was acting out of character.

Yeah she did seem a tad off this episode, still not as bad as ADO however.

Alright finally watched the episode, and just like last week it was nowhere near as bad as I heard it was. Sure AJ was a bit OOC and that brought the episode a bit down for me, but it still managed to work for the plot given and wasn’t anywhere near as bad as some out of character moments in the past. Overall it was a decent watch, but I feel like this show has already tackled this moral before.

I was skeptical of the synopsis of Honest Apple the first time I saw it and indeed the episode went out of its way to show why Applejack is a bad choice for a fashion judge. I don’t know what Rarity was thinking when she chose Applejack to judge clothes on practicality. The practicality of clothes hasn’t seemed to be a concern before since they are mainly worn for special occasions.
 
Lily Lace needs to be gagged and sent packing. Inky Rose may stay.
 
I love that Rarity can shred a guitar.
 
This was one of the better Applejack episodes, though I thought the moral was a little confusing.

AJ was an asshole, and Rarity was a dumbass for bringing someone who doesn’t know fashion to judge a fashion contest.
 
At least Lace, Inky and Strawberry were good.

I still think the focus of people’s ridicule is misguided. Rarity using aj as a judge was stupid, but not because aj doesn’t know about fashion. I thought the reasoning rarity gave was good. The problem was that she didn’t tailor the contest to acount for practicality at all
