As I pointed out, CalArts isn’t a real style, and said styles were made artists/cartoonists/animators that didn’t even attend CalArts.  
So no offense, but you guys really need a new term for that style.
 
Also, a li’l cartoonish exaggeration can be good if done right. Even MLP:FiM is guilty of having some Looney Tunes-esc humor, and I’ve seen people complain about that too, before all this started. (Ironically, the humor of the show was partially what hooked many bronies.)

Yeah and I just want it to stop. We get it, the style is the worst thing in the world and that there are “haters” whining about it, we don’t need all this shit clogging up the front page.

Sure was an epic shitstorm this fandom has gone up to.

Honestly, I saw someone on twitter say this and I’m gonna bet $5 it’s true:  
As MLP:FIM was able to conclude and wrap itself up properly, Pony Life only exists to hold people over until G5 comes out.

You know what? Fuck it, I don’t care for the debate, say whatever you feel about pony life, I’m just gonna make me a sandwich.

IDK, cause it seems to me that it could be something to run alongside Gen 5. Since Gen 5 is going to be for older audiences, they may use Pony Life to give the younger audience something to watch

Has anyone actually proven that the art style is cheap and lazy.  
The original show wasn’t exactly groundbreaking in animation. Almost every pony used to same body in it

And I see Pony Life isn’t “CalArts”. On closer inspection, Rainbow Dash has five teeth.

The hate toward Hanna Barbers is weird when you consider that they practically revolutionised an entire genre of Animation

It’s because almost none of their shows were any good at all. They had good characters, but terrible writing and animation for the most part.

To be fair, most of their stuff was intended for television, which almost always have lesser budgets than animation intended for movies.

One thing to know about teen Titans go. one of the reasons it stayed popular was because people wouldn’t shut up about it and kept it in public eye

Guys, don’t be such babies about the new MLP series. It’s just another show setted in a totally different universe that it’s not the main show. That one remains safe, and the book stays closed as it should. This one is just a mindless fun show that retains the main characters (with their voice actors as well). If it turns out to be bad there’s nothing to rage about, we don’t have anything to lose here. I mean it’s not like the latest main Pokemon game that fucked up everything good there was in past games. If it was the case with new show to FiM, THEN I would have got mad.

I keep hearing about “you’re being babies” or “whiners”, ect, but I haven’t actually seen much whining or “babying” about it. What I’ve seen is people going “nope”, “doesn’t look good”, “hope it’s not G5” and so on. I wouldn’t call it “being babies”. People just don’t like it. I haven’t really seen someone panicking or going apeshit about it. Even if someone somewhere has (and I wouldn’t be surprised if someone has), it’s more of an exception than the rule, at least from what I’ve seen in various comment sections. Most people are just kinda

And much like Equestria Girls when it first came out, (and was met with similar backlash) some of those people actually are attacking those that want to give “Pony Life” a chance, and such. That’s not cool, nor very mature.

You’re lucky if you haven’t seen anyone going “apeshit” over it. It’s a rock worth living under.  
I also hate how people assume if you find the drama annoying, (regardless what your opinion is, or what side it’s coming from) then you must be “against criticism,” “against free speech,” or something.

True. Surprised most fans forget that, or don’t even notice that.  
Indeed, heck, some could argue the old Hanna Barbara style in the 1960s was overdone back then, or the animesque style of the ’80s, or the Nicktoon styles of the ‘90s.

Not bashing Hanna Barbara, I actually like them, but sometimes they were cheap, as well.  
Though, in some cases like the original Johnny Quest, Yogi Bear, or Space Ghost, that cheaper style has a bit of a classic style charm to it. Simple styles aren’t always bad.
