I’m gonna start a warzone of comments for this but……I’m still an unapologetic pro-reform Chrysalis fanboy. I saw everything she’s done in the finale and I know she deserved punishment. But in my eyes, she along with Tirek and Cozy Glow were released by Twilight, put through extreme parole protocols, and were eventually reformed after who knows how long it took. Just like with Discord, they also found a reasonable middle ground.

Twilight wouldn’t just be a good person if she could even bring herself to try.
 
She’d be a saint.
 
It’s saying something that I’m not sure if Twilight could forgive her if Chrysalis was repentant for the things she’s done, which she isn’t, for anything, in the slightest.
 
I just can’t think of an appeal that could possibly work with someone that hates you so much, they savored the unbridled terror that a mutilation threat of a loved one brings you, before the attempt was made of killing you all.
 
“Hey, I know you want to murder me and everyone I love with every fiber of your being, but we can help you get over that,” or something along those lines? That doesn’t seem like it could work. She doesn’t care if she loses everything, at all, because it happened back in S6 and she persisted.
 
I think the philosophy that you can save everyone is just unhealthy, hence one of the reasons why I’ll never watch Steven Universe. It’s just way too optimistic to think like that for my taste.

There are irredeemable monsters, it’s ridiculous to expect that you can “Friendship” absolutely anyone there is.
 
“But friendship is magic!”, yeah, well, mental disorders such as sociopathy says “Hi”.

People underestimate children. While it’s true that for the most part kids can still learn morality and might just try to do better, people can’t conceive exceptions apparently.
 
No one is willing to see individual cases throught those lenses, just “they are just this or that” and should be judged by that single fact alone.
 
Cozy Glow was a nasty piece of work that got what she deserved.

We’re probably gonna see a lot of pics where the trio’s statue is used as a joke prop. I remember after Discord’s first appearance, his statue was used in a bunch of pictures and videos as a running gag.

Twilight isn’t gonna take on that task alone. She has so many friends to help her out after all.
 
I understand what you’re trying to say. I know not everything can be solved by being nice but the thing with Chrysalis is, I’m gonna say this again, I never wanted Discord to be forgiven back in Seasons 2 and 3 and since it happened, I wanted the same to happen to Chrysalis as a fair trade-off with the fandom.  
She doesn’t even need to like Twilight and her friends. What I want Twilight to accomplish is finding a peaceful solution for Chrysalis and her friends to live the rest of their lives in. Of course, Twilight and company will make sure that the villain trio can’t cause trouble ever by suppressing their magics. They’ll only get their powers back once they can be fully trusted, but if they want to live the rest of their lives without them, that’s their choice.

It’s kinda a shame Cozy was introduced so late in the series, she was an amusing, and adorable villain.

I swear, does the fact that she blatantly possesses moral agency with each and every atrocity she committed or tried to commit count for nothing to these people?
 
Moving back onto Chrysalis (and the other two can have this said about them), you’d be very hard-pressed to argue that their actions couldn’t have given Twilight, Spike, and/or any of their friends PTSD.
