how do you guys feel about canon x oc ships? And are there any that you like?

Depends on the situation, really. If in a fanfic or Kilalaverse-type AU a character who is official and a character who is not end up together, it’s all good!
On the other hand, when it’s the artist/writer’s self-insert paired with the artist/writer’s waifu… well… I don’t hate you for fantasizing about getting to bang Trixie, but you greatly overestimate my desire to watch you do so.

In general, I am open to canon x oc ships. The quality of those ships corresponds with the quality of the oc. Where a likeable oc is involved and compliments the canon character well, there is the potential for magic. I especially enjoy them when there is lots of transference and good emotional flow, like with Trissie and that one gray mare, for example.
