Then again, my thoughts upon seeing Starlight as a Counselor is that she could combine this with her age spell to have much roleplay fun with sunburst. So what I’m saying is that when it comes to shipping, Starlight being a teacher now is nothing but a plus.

I think that’s gross for some reason maybe because it involves starlight.

I don’t partake in shipping that much, however Spike and Sweetie belle is pretty much the only common ship I dislike. Not because I dislike either character, or that I’m a super die hard Sparity or anything. Just because it’s usually the laziest ship possible. In 99.9% of stories it’s only there because the author doesn’t like Sparity and just assumes Sweetie is close enough as a replacement. That’s a pretty big disservice to Sweetie who has developed into a characther completely different than her sister.

That or they think Sweetie would be automatically interested in Spike/be consolation prize if he can’t get with Rarity.
