There’s so many freakin’ types of zinnias. But ideally they’re strange because unlike most flowers, zinnias are composed of multiple mini flower parts, florets, it’s kinda hard to explain, but the larger petals of the zinnia is the most mature, ray florets. Usually they’re all of similar color, and as they mature you get that hue. But any variety that have the yellowish-gold inner florets seem to be hybrids to produce that color.
What she has looks more like a Red Mum “Daisy”.
EDIT: But I’ve kinda learned to be cautious around what the artists do with flower cutie marks because they’ve done franken-flowers just kinda catch-all shapes and colors, and I don’t think most members would make a huge fuss over it.
